I’ve been ordering the same dish here for over a year without any problems. Recently, since they hired someone new, I was told that my order was now considered a “special order” and that it doesn’t come that way. My wife wanted it without chicken. In fact, the dish with chicken is even more expensive. I never asked for a refund — I just wanted a simple exchange for an order without chicken.
Instead of working with me, they were rude and acted like I made a mistake. They refused to cooperate and were very nasty about the whole situation. Between the poor attitude and the disappointing food, I will never go back, and I’d advise others to think twice before eating here.

General tso’s used to be amazing but I just got them today and it tasted like thickened water for sauce. Definitely would avoid this place. If you are going to go, go to the one in Lacey because this one is horrible.

This is the 3rd time, we came home without our complete order. They say take a picture of the missing food ( lol )??? Bring the picture in, to decide IF? We get a refund. I will insist on them leaving all of the order OUT, BEFORE we actually pay and pick up

Beware: their food has gone way downhill. It is oily and sloppy and tasteless. The service is just as bad. And when you tell them the food is an edible they just smile and say do you want something else. When everybody else at the table has already finished eating, and you ignored my waves to you and come out with orange slices as a dessert — no I don’t want something else. They still charged full price for the inedible meal and didn’t take it off the bill. We had similar experiences with takeout sushi being a wrong order and not being compensated. Bad business practices — don’t go here.

No complaints at all - the restaurant was clean, the service was excellent and the sushi lunch special was delicious. It includes miso soup, salad and your choice of 2/3 rolls. I'll definitely be going back!

Ordered large spare ribs on bone and fried rice. Ribs were dry and fatty. Rice was ok. Beware large order is only 8 ribs. Never seen that before always 10-12. Asked for house duck sauce when I called. When I picked up, no duck sauce in bag. I asked her for duck sauce. She handed me one small one. I asked for another, she said only one free. Meanwhile lady before asked her for three duck sauce and she tossed three in her bag. Will not return

Presentation is key the restaurant is very clean , an it was the best Asian general tso's chicken I ever had an not for nothing I eat here at least 3 time a month when I'm in the area. I highly recommend
Food is good when you eat it there. Quality is not consistent when ordering takeout which I do more often.

We're from out of state and tried this place as it was close to my parents house where we were staying. Wait staff for take out was friendly and the restaurant looked nice and clean, food might be presented better when dining in, however the takeout sushi was subpar in our opinion. Edamame had star anise in it which I didn't prefer and wasn't listed on the menu. Egg rolls were delicious however.

The food was delicious! The appetizer sampler was wonderful! Service was tip top, at the end of our meal we even got a hot peppermint towel to clean ourselves. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Barnegat!
