We had another fabulous dinner last night at Blue Bistro. They have an extensive menu and always have great specials. The food is consistently delicious and very fresh. The service is excellent, very warm and friendly. Nick and his family always make you feel at home. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Basking Ridge.

This past Saturday evening 3 of us went to Blu. We were greeted at door and shown to our table in the front empty sterile dining room where u could see into the larger back sterile empty dining room. The service was attentive and polite. The menu reads horribly for an "Italian" resto. I thought I'd play it safest and cheapest and get salad & "flatbread" but was told no flatbread the oven was broken.Without writing a novel, all the pastas were pretty awful. I feel sorry the staff, the chef/dishwasher, the owners and anybody that goes there including us on this past Saturday. We actually ended up there because I screwed up our res elsewhere. Go as an act of charity not for the food.

We had a fantastic culinary experience at Blu Crete this weekend. The food, atmosphere and staff did not disappoint. It's a BYOB which is always a plus! Wonderful selection of entrees and nightly specials. And the tartufo was excellent. Definitely add this restaurant to your dinner (or lunch) destination.

The food here is excellent. Made to order so small changes are happily accommodated. Many interesting specials each time. The service is always attentive. It’s not noisy and decorated nicely. It’s one of our “go to” restaurants and it’s always consistently excellent. It’s a BYO as well.

The Blu Crete Bistro has a beautifully decorated dining area. It's clean and open and spacious and has a peaceful vibe. No loud music blasting. Just a nice level . The service was excellent and friendly. I ordered the chicken piccata and it was very good. Thank you everyone :) I recommend it!

We have had several meals here and all have been great. Their menu has an amazing variety of choices and having three courses doesn’t break the bank since it is a BYOB. The owner Nick is always welcoming and sincere. My favorite is their grouper - always fresh. This is an outstanding neighborhood restaurant and I recommend it wholeheartedly!
Our family and another family from town met at the Blu Crete Bistro. Nick and his son Eddie took great care of us, from the time the reservations were made until the last sip of coffee. They made very sure we were all comfortable and happy. The food was delicious, and there were many great choices. I particularly enjoyed the broccoli rabe that came with the octopus appetizer. Rabe can be tricky to cook at home, as it can be tough and bitter-and this was prepared to perfection with capers and olives and garlic. Great music, loved the atmosphere. There was outdoor seating but we opted to stay inside. Very happy with the entire experience and we will be returning for another great meal! Thank you to Nick and Eddie!! We had a fun evening!!!!

Very unprofessional customer service. I sat down at one of the metal tables on the sidewalk and was yelled at by who I believe was the owner or manager. I politely apologized and got up. I didn't realize those table were part of the restaurant especially since they were closed. Either way not a smart businesses move to be that aggressive with potential customers.
