Umm… Wow! I don’t know what kind of lobster roll they’re talking about. I just paid $22 for a “Maine Lobster Roll” at Mystic Lobster Roll’s new Cranford location. Shocked at the hotdog bun stuffed with the red rubber claw meat you throw away.I don’t eat that rubbery tip of the claw. Gross!My freshly buttered roll is a hotdog bun! I should’ve looked at it before I left and I would’ve asked for a refund right there.I also ordered the lobster bisque soup and that’s not bad for $10. It’s OK.I will not order from there again.

Stopped by for the first time yesterday and was blown away. Very simple, fresh, high quality, and truly delicious lobster rolls! So good, in fact, that I’m going back over for lunch today.

The food was very fresh and delicious! I ordered the buttered lobster roll, and it was just perfect! Even the toasted roll tasted great. We would definitely go back!

We ordered the lobster roll with butter- absolutely delicious! Full of fresh lobster on a toasted roll. The place is new and very clean.

They were very accommodating to my requests. I really appreciated their willingness to work with me.

Not worth to visit again…the lobster is ok but the bread is plain without toasting. Not to mention they also charged you additional service fees for takeout without informing you in advance.

It was just OK nothing exceptional. I think they are working out the kinks of a new business. One of our rolls had a hair in it and they did give us a new roll. The lobster didnt seem fresh. Having had lobster rolls in Maine, Connecticut, Cape May and Wildwood this would rank sixth bc it is the second best roll in Montclair.

For the price, the portion is smaller compared to other Lobster Roll places at around the same price.

Really really disappointed! We want to welcome a new small business into the mall. We had a big order and found that all the rolls consist of 4 to 5 dices of meat and one small claw. The rolls were not fresh. There is surcharge of 4% for using credit cards which they don't mention when you order/paid.

**ATTENTION EVERYONE BUYING FOOD HERE!**THEY CHARGE YOU $1.50 FOR USING YOUR CREDIT CARD.They do not verbally tell you. There is a very small sign located below the register stating they are charging you. They could put the sign next to the menu up top so everyone could see it.When you pay with a credit card, you do not get an itemized break down so you would never know. I used a debit card and should not have been charged a fee according to state regulations and the policies of card brands.You are also supposed to show the amount of the credit card fee as a separate line item.Lastly, the amount of the credit card fee must not exceed 4 percent of the transaction -- They charge everyone a flat rate of $1.50 regardless of what you buy, which is illegal as they are profiting from the credit card fee if you spend less than $37.50.I will be calling Visa, Mastercard, etc. and state regulators letting them know of your illegal practices.

We ate at Mystic Lobster Bridgewater! The food was incredible and service was excellent!I highly recommend trying all the dishes.

My girlfriends and I ordered Maine Lobster Rolls for take out. It was delicious, lots of lobster and very fresh. Good location.

Definitely exceeded my expectations! Scrumptious lobster roll, fresh, tasty and seasoned just right. Also tasted the roasted potatoes and they were amazing. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, super clean. Highly recommend.

I ordered the CT roll and Lobster bisque, the roll was delicious and full of lobster but I would have like the roll to be toasted more and butter onnthe lobster not just the roll. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever eaten and I order lobster bisque everywhere I go, this will now be my go to place for bisque! I will definitely be ordering again soon.
