I heard this place had new management so I decided to give them a try. I ordered their zuppa de pesce and their fettuccini Alfredo w/ shrimp. My God, it was perfect!! My son got a plain slice and he said it was one of the best he’s eaten. He had to get another two. They had jarritos which I’ve always wanted to try and I absolutely loved it. Staff was friendly and attentive so that was a plus. Anyways I think I found my new go-to

If you’re expecting Italian style pie this is not the place for you. The crust is dense, dry and flavorless. The people were friendly and the place is neat and clean.
Hi Capri. I appreciate your reply. If you will be using the same dough then making it thinner or thicker isn’t going to change the density, dryness or flavor. Your pizza dough is not bad … as you said we all have our opinions… it’s just nothing like a traditional Italian pizza that is airy and tasty.

My go to pizza place in the area! All the employees are so friendly and the food is always delicious!!
Seen the new management sign upfront, figured I’d give it a try. To be honest I was surprised, pizza was great. Sauce had flavor, crust had the crisp. No complaints at all. Service was friendly, looked clean inside. Potentially a great Beachwood pizza spot. Highly recommended checking it out again if you had mixed reviews in the past.

Oh no, a 1 star experience! I was on vacation in quiet Bayville and asked a local to recommend a decent nearby pizzeria and she pointed me here so I rolled the dice. What a mistake. Being from Northern Jersey we are spoiled with excellent pizza options and this place dropped the ball hard. I asked for a Margherita with anchovies and extra cheese - I wanted fresh sliced mutz as the extra cheese, not just more regular shredded cheese. So a two topping large pie. They charge me $33 and I was like wait a second, something has to be wrong here and the counter boy was like “Uh no, those toppings you got are special toppings so they cost extra and the prices have gone up for all ingredients.” I stomached that instead of causing a scene, walked out grumbling to myself this better be the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, BUT I should have looked at the pie before I brought it home. ALWAYS DO THAT! Pure disaster just by the looks of it. Wilted crust, flavorless sauce, no extra cheese like I wanted, anchovies disappeared - just BAD. I did eat most of the pie over two days but that’s bc I was lazy. It was one of the worst I’ve had lately. So I went on their website to check the prices out bc I felt strongly that they ripped me off - and they did. I went back the next day and demanded $8 back, which is the price it should have been. I should have asked for the whole amount back but I did eat the pie so that was that. In a nutshell - just avoid this crumbling facade.

So it says "under new management " but we have been ordering from here for years. This was the best pizza we have received. The crust was thick but not burned and still a little soft, the ham on the hawaiian was thinly sliced perfectly. Happy for new management bc it was the best pizza we have received in years!!!

I hate to leave this review but I hope the owners will make changes for their own sake. Ordered a white broccoli pizza & was severely disappointed. Barely any ricotta on it & the broccoli tasted like it was frozen. No flavor at all. When I went to pick it up, two kids that seemed around 15 year old were running the place. The pizza confirmed that. The place was cute inside and seemed clean though.
Small pizza, subs, and Italian fare. We love their pizza. Basic table setup for a quick meal, but usually for pickup. Pizza was well covered with topping.

I order a cheese steak with only cheese and ketchup only and this is what I got. When I open it the cheese was all cold not melted and no meat at all! First and last time I will order from this place!!!
