Could not have more great things to say about L Gourmet! Hands down the best sandwiches in Ocean County. I had my shower catered from here and the entire experience was great from start to finish. Laurie was super helpful and even hand delivered all the food the morning of the shower. From the sandwiches to the pasta salads, everything was delivered fresh and tasted delicious. The prices are very reasonable as well and it was well worth it. Will definitely be using them again and would recommend to anyone looking to have a party catered! Thank you Laurie 🙏

Great when you get what you ordered. I just ordered a small sub - ham-capicola and provolone - It was a take-out and, sadly when I get home, it's ALL Salami ! I ate half because that was supposed to be my lunch - it did not taste very good at all. Buyer beware I guess :-( I guess the moral of the story is you can't trust them on a take-out order. Otherwise the food is normally very good.

Where can I find a way to give this place less than 5 stars? The service is horrible, the food is cold, and the service is very bad. The worst thing about Tom's River is that it's not a good place to stay.

My husband stopped in yesterday to pick up two slices of cake for dessert: chocolate and carrot cake. I'm disappointed to report that they were both stale. At nearly $6 a slice, I expected them to be edible.
