Wicked fancy, proper fine dining. I went here for a family dinner, and based on the prevalence of seafood on the menu, I was expecting to choke down one of the non-seafood options, but I was pleasantly surprised with everything I ate.
Went there for Mother’s Day prix fixe lunch which was the first time there. Everyone’s three dishes were phenomenal. So beyond our expectations. A bit pricey for sure but well worth it. Can’t remember the last time I had a meal this good out. Seems like the quality in many restaurants has gone downhill. Will be back!
Used to come here often. Bar side only.
Went tonight after a few years and the prices are just too high
Over 100 bucks for 2 drinks, 2 burgers...
The cocktails were tasty but weak
The burgers were good but there are better burgers elsewhere
Fries were very good
Bartenders were nice
We have shared a couple of meals at the Pluckemin Inn after funerals for family members. Today we ate there and when asked about allergies I listed my many allergies. The server listened, wrote it all down and served me my own meal of an allergen free meal. I am so thankful that they were willing to take the time to make me my own dish today. Top notch food and service.

My husband and I use to go to Pluckemin often since we moved to NJ in 2017. And we are always happy to be there. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and the service is perfect.. There is only one complaint. I’m celiac, and despite the restaurant always have something delicious for me and I never have been contaminated with gluten there, I cannot understand why Pluckemin doesn’t offer Gluten free pasta or bread. It simple to have it, I use to go to restaurants all around America and in the world, and I‘m offered bread and pasta gluten free. It disappoints me that a good restaurant like Pluckemin doesn't take this care to include celiac people.
Recommended dishes: Lobster, Duck Breast, Yellowfin Tuna Tartare

Beautiful place with a great ambience! Service was also fantastic! They changed plates at every meal course and were very kind and respectful.
Food however was not good! It was very over priced. Almost double the cost of other restaurants. We ordered the burger, duck, and fish. The burgers were not season well, the bacon and burger tasted like it was reheated and not fresh. Also the tomatoes and lettuce were not fresh and crispy as vegetables are supposed to be. Fries were heavily fried and didn’t have much potato taste. Portions were also pretty small for the duck and fish dishes.
Was expecting a lot better from this place considering the high reviews! Very disappointed! Hoping they can fix this because the location and atmosphere is beautiful!

As always, Pluckemin was amazing. But I would love to have some Gluten free pasta or bread there. I'm celiac and nowadays, I can have gluten free options of bread and pasta in good restaurants all around the world( we use to travel often) but Pluckemin still doesn't offer it
I had one of the worst dining experiences in years. For the money, I expect service and a comfortable dining experience in addition to the food. First, I was only able to book bar seating despite arriving to find the majority of outside tables vacant. We were seated at a table in the bar area next to a loud and obnoxious couple despite having three vacant tables (the entire two hour experience) further away. Why we were seated on top of another couple is beyond acceptability. My wife and I could not enjoy a single minute of the dining experience. It was even difficult for the waitstaff to communicate. For a fine dining establishment, this is completely unacceptable. Patrons come for the experience more than the food. Not only do I not plan to return, but also I will do my best to let others know to avoid this poorly managed establishment.
We celebrated my wife's birthday with a wonderful dinner and were able to sit outside. The wait staff could not have been more attentive! The food was superb. We visit the PI probably twice a year and it seems to get better and better each time we visit!
Will come back again! Really enjoyed it!

Had to wait a while (over an hour) for our food and the service is in line with a 4, not 5 restaurant.
For appetizers we had pork belly and octopus both of which were good.
The duck was good and the dessert was fantastic
