Santa Luzia Barbeque

Ordered a combo of beef and pork ribs paid $36 and was only 2 pieces of each with most of the tray full of sweet plantains I asked instead of the rice. Not worthy

I order beef ribs with rice and beans. I asked for an extra beef ribs, so I’m totally I payed for 5 beef ribs. First of all those beef ribs were small and cut so thin and God knows what they seasoned it with. It messed up our stomachs. The rice was not tasty. It wasn’t BBQ at all. I was disappointed. I only ordered from Santa Luzia cause it was a Monday and my favorite place was closed. Lesson learned, never again….

If you never ordered from here you’ll be pleasantly surprised, I usually order the plater with bbq sausage, ribs, chicken, plantains and sweets plantains it’s about $120 for a large that feeds easily 10-12 people, small $70 feeds 4-6, extremely fully of flavor, love that smoked meat, this is an absolute must try restaurant for everyone, take it to go, because you’re gonna want to eat the whole platter and you don’t want to be in public when making a pig of yourself, lol

Worst chicken sandwich ever. My chicken sandwich the chicken was rough and brown color tasted horrible and smelt even worse. Never again! I didn't even waste time calling because it left such a horrible taste in my mouth. Never again

OHH NAHH!! They are plenty of good bbq restaurants in the area ! Idk why so many people come here . The chicken was rubbery, pink and the skin rubbery! And they barely gave us any beans . What gets me is the receipt doesn’t break down the order so you won’t know the prices of each item. And then they charge you .99 for card transaction . We didn’t even eat the rest of our food . It sucks cause we were hungry. My boyfriend went to tell them how the chicken was not it and all the employee can say is “sorry” you would think they would offer us better chicken but all the employee kept saying was sorry . Def won’t ever be back here ever again !

The food wasn’t so good, I ordered picana and they gave me a whole different type of meat, then told me they couldn’t do anything, they didn’t make me aware at all, chicken and meat was raw. Hopefully I don’t get food poisoning
