If you want the best cup of coffee in the Phillipsburg, Easton and Bethlehem area….you should come here. If you want to go to a places where the staff is amazing and super nice….you should come here! Truly nothing negative to say about this place. If you have a unique order, as long as they have the stuff they can usually accommodate you or offer you something similar that WONT disappoint! Give it a try and hopefully you experience the same enjoyment that I and so many other patrons get every week!

i loved it!! i went with three of my friends to study for a history test and the atmosphere was amazing. tea and coffee were delicious, and the employees were so sweet!
Dietary restrictions: i’m allergic to dairy and they had alternatives to dairy milk, such as hemp, almond, and oat milk.

A calming atmosphere with a cozy lounge area serves tasty lattes and coffee drinks. It's always a great weekend treat to visit the kings gambit for a hand crafted coffee. Thanks for all the good drinks and coffee beans

Such a small gem in the middle of nowhere. Belvidere is at West most end of NJ where you can practically walk over the bridge and walk into PA. This is a small quiet town with plenty of places to walk and see. This particular cafe is rarity as its really hard to find a spot that offers so much variety in coffee. The details of where they get their coffee slips my mind, but if you as they will gladly explain. They have all the machinery to process their coffee (which you can sort-of appreciate while waiting for your coffee). I love to order my latte with oat-milk and it's always made to perfection. If you want to try something different, staff is very helpful. What perhaps got me to like the spot even more is their playful way of trying to get people to interact. The atmosphere is super relaxed. Almost gives you that "Downtown NY" vibes. They do offer a points system to loyal customers and accept card and cash payments. (Also, they offer simple pastries to accompany your delicious coffee).

I became a monthly subscriber to King's Gambit because their roasted coffees are amongst the best I've had in both NJ and the DC area. It also gave me an excuse to go to their cafe to enjoy their superb espresso drinks. However, I'm leaving this review because their customer experience has been second to none. They're always friendly, my subscription beans always come with a hand-written note, my last pickup came with a special gift coffee mug (Thank You King's Gambit!!!), and now I've learned they're delivering my next allotment of beans during their holiday closure. You just don't see a customer experience like it today and I'm so happy to support this local business. Keep up the great work!

We happened on this place staying across the street and were SO glad we did. It was one of the highlights of our short trip. The coffee was delicious (highly recommend the tiramisu latte) and the atmosphere was a bright, clean slate of natural textures peppered with calming greenery. You can really tell the owners (who are super friendly and personable) have created this shop from a labor of love ❤️

Cool little cafe with a really nice selection of hot teas to compliment the coffee. Cozy hangout spot complete with chess; spolier alert, I lost! There were also some gluten free baked goods!
Capucinno was perfect. We love this place. Great decor and ambiance
Simply amazing coffee both in their cafe and brewed at home. Wonderful, inspiring ambience in-store and absolutely worth the trip!
