Not what I expected when we walked in, we tried it anyway. The waitress said people say the veal parm is the best anywhere. She even went on to say her boyfriend is a chef and said it was the best he’s ever had. So, I ordered the veal parm with spaghetti. My wife ordered the chicken franchaise. I didn’t have high hopes from the feel of this place.
My wife’s dish was soupy and her pasta was way overcooked. My veal was so flat there was barely any meat per bite and it was tough. Overcooked. My pasta was also grossly overcooked. The sauce was mediocre.
My wife did order Pierogies for an appetizer, which was actually good. They were in a creamy garlic sauce, which Was very tasty.
We were really disappointed.

I'm sorry but I had a pretty horrible experience. A server was very slow and negligent and brought us a bowl with butter twice so we had two bowls full of butter pads but never got any bread. She was otherwise at least kind of nice though although a smile would have been nice.
The sausage pepper and onions was horrible. The sausage was so overcooked and dry. The sauce was incredibly watery not thick and chunky like a sauce should be.
I got buffalo wings that were bone dry. Like there was a little bit of buffalo sauce on the bottom of the plate but nothing on the wings. Not sure if you guys understand how you're supposed to do wings but you should toss the wings in a bowl of sauce so they get nice and saucy before putting them on a plate.
My wife was happy her salad was pretty good and she loved the Caesar dressing. So that's was one plus. Worse $120 I ever spent at a restaurant.

The food is ok here. I didn’t like the sauce on the chicken parm. The atmosphere is pretty cool! Was at a lunch party, there were only two servers helping us plus others that came in to dine and also tending bar! Not their fault it was a bit overwhelming. The drinks were good though.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busier than it should be for the quality of food. Boiled soupy “Chicken Française” and clams were served in the bag; not sure why they couldn’t untie it to make it more presentable? I had a few bites of the chicken but couldn’t finish it. Waitress was missing for multiple minutes after we asked for the check. First and last visit. Soup tasted like straight metal out of a can and was inedible.

This place is the most no frills eating experience that I have had in a while. Cons: my girlfriend got the manicotti with meatballs. meatballs had no flavor and tasted more like unseasoned bread/bread crumbs than it did meat. The place has an old musty smell to it (to me, my girlfriend didn't seem to smell it like I did). My chicken Parm had a marinara that was extremely sweet to me. I like mine more savory than sweet
Pros: the waitress was very pleasant, the portion sizes were good, the side salad was tasty, and the prices were very reasonable.
For me, this was a one and done since I live 30 minutes east of here and it isn't on my "go to" list now. But it was worth the experience. I appreciate the business for what it is but I won't be back for what it isnt, for me. All the best, just not my style.

Candy is the best server at this place….the young kids working here need to learn how to work…..give Candy good people to work with and fire the kids.

We have driven past this place a million times & always thought it looked interesting. We had already eaten elsewhere but we finally curiosity got the best of us. We love cool interior. Our drinks were good, the meals others were eating looked pretty good. Bartender was friendly, nice to find a historic place in NJ that hasnt been destroyed by "progress", enough with boring strip.malls & luxury overpriced apartment complexes!

I love the historic building, location and atmosphere but the food is horrible. Sauces have no flavor. Everything is bland and greasy. The chicken is rubber. Laziest lasagna ever- look at it!

Was there for line dancing this past Friday. What an amazing time! The bartenders were quick, friendly, and know how to pour a good drink. Great atmosphere and people of all ages were out there on the dance floor. Not to mention the food was delicious!
