We’ve been looking for a new breakfast Place. Ordering was easy, they paid attention to changes, prices are good, and delivery was as expected. My issues are the veggie cream cheese. The taste was a bit off and the consistency was dense, not creamy, as if it was a day or two old. Also the muffin seemed a day old as well. Not sure we’ll try again.
How hard is it find a good local bagel in NJ ? This wasn't a question I thought I would have to ask when I moved here 5 years ago. My bagelcoaster quest has taken me from mediocre to stale bodega bad. On a whim, I ordered from Bagels and More in Bergenfield. They delivered, literally and with the quality of their bagels. I order two bagels for research purposes. The sesame with scallion cream cheese was the perfect texture . Soft on the inside and had the coveted bagel "shell"...
I needed some bagels to give to the nursing staff that wonderfully treated my wife for 5 days after her double knee replacements. I called Bagels & More at 6:15 in the morning and ordered 20 mini bagels and 5 regular bagels, and some bagel spreads. Carlos, who works there, recommended the spreads available. I ordered the following spreads; crème cheese (2 of them), crème cheese with scallions and egg salad. It was the perfect gift to the nurses that I delivered at 8:45 am.
