If I could give this place a zero, I would. The staff were incredibly rude and disrespectful from the moment I walked in with my friends, drawn in by the cute interior don't be fooled. it's all aesthetics and no substance. When I tried to order a turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich, I asked if the egg could be cooked separately due to a pork allergy. The person I spoke with flatly refused, stating they didn't have time to clean for me. When I suggested using a different pot, I was met with a simple 'no' and complete indifference. To top it off, as I was entering, another customer was leaving and mentioned they had been throwing up because of something in their food. The complete lack of consideration and disregard for basic customer service is appalling. Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of this place.

I been in Bergenfield since 2021 and had searched at least 5+ Bagel spots. This is my spot, they are consistent and make a variety of lighter or darker bagels. The family that owns it adds value through their kindness and sometimes involve you in their marital diaglouge that is funny lol

Pros: Good fresh consistent bagels and they answer the phone for call aheads (even for one bagel). Great customer service from the team and they are earnest to provide a great experience!

Cons: parking, it's usually busy but just wait til someone pulls off or use the side parking lot.

Got a Too Good to Go twice already, the bagels are great!

One time I arrived 10 minutes after closure and the guy waited for me. Great service and friendly owner!

Short, white-looking Hispanic guy collecting payments is so irritating. Last Saturday, I tell him my credit card's chip can't be tapped to help him out, so he gets an attitude and says how he does this all day, he's familiar with how credit cards work, etc.

Today, I pay cash, and he tries stiffing me on two cents and acts like I don't realize, so I call him out and he gives me a nickel instead after claiming they threw out the pennies. He says he doesn't care about two cents. Good for you, pal, I work for my money though, and this is a pattern. Way too average of a spot to deal with this guy again. What a piece of work.

Edit: Not surprised this guy is trying to save face. Listen, cheapskate, you did try to stiff me because you weren't gonna say a damn thing until I called you out about it. Two pennies or not, it is the principle of it. You tried playing me for a fool and I called you out.

Best bagels in all of Bergenfield

Came here twice (this week and last week) to pick up bagels that I already placed an order for and they were closed. They were "open" on Google and you can even order to-go on their website. Wished the store could update their hours and make the pick up orders unavailable if you will be temporarily closed.

2023Pretty good bagel shop and deli.This used to be Bakin Bagels, but changed ownership a few months back. The prices are good and the bagels are good. I havent tried the sandwiches yet under this new management, so i will have to try it next time.I visited around 2pm, so a bit late in the day. Most of the different types bagels were gathered into just 1 bin. Not exactly sure why. The parking lot was empty, so it was easy parking. No other customers, so i got helped immediatly, no wait time. The price for 4 bagels was $5, so i think that is pretty good.It was clean inside and the employee was friendly and service was fast.The look of the bagels were good, not great. Holding the bagels i could tell they were a bit old, (on the slightly hard side but not too hard)... which is partly my fault for visiting late in the day. Cutting into the bagels revealed a nice, soft texture inside. Both the plain and cinnamon raisin bagels tasted ok/good.. but not super amazing delicious.So if you are in Bergenfield and dont want to drive 10 mins for something better, then this is good.However, a 10 min drive to Cresskill Hot Bagels in cresskill or 10 mins to Teaneck Hot Bagels will give you some of the best tasting stuff in NJ!
