Though the Pandesal is quite expensive it’s ok to the taste and the kicker is your Pandesal size is too small unlike before, we don’t mind if you raise the price but don’t make your product smaller?

Skip this place. A box of ensaymada and bag of ensaymada were both moldy when we opened them. The staff is rude unless you're filipino and they sell you the old stuff. There are much better filipino bakeries out there. 0 STARS. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER.

Came here with my dad and the old ladies had a mean tone when talking to me and were not so nice. Will not be going back.

Within 2 days of receiving the mini ensaymadas from a friend I tried and tasted a weird taste. Turned out to be mold. He has purchased them before and never had this problem. I also threw out the large one for the same reason.

SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!As a customer with a significant reason to inform the store of an unfortunate situation where you bought $50 worth of baked goods from their store just to find half of them with mold - you expect a sincere response of an apology - right? When you walked in and reminded the lady behind the counter of previous incident, her whole demeanor became like a Grandmother scolding a child - its inappropriate! Was even boastful that she checks her breads every 3 days for mold in a mad and condescending tone - i tried to appease her by saying nicely “Please dont be mad! Im not even asking you for anything im just reminding you!?” However, would not stop being defensive and could not even get a word in! After i paid for a bag of pandesal and cheese cupcake - she was still mouthing me off and instead of handing me my change placed it in the counter forcefully! I decided to pick my battles and be matured about it - i pushed the items i paid for and said calmly - “thank you i’d rather just leave so that you dont have to yell and be mad at me!” Then headed for the door! She then came out of her station with my items saying i should take it coz i paid for it and used the excuse that she’s Kapampangan and thats how they sound when they talk ( which was 360 degrees different also completely nicer than how it was when she was literally denying they dont sell moldy goods). Please see the rest of the reviews here - all related to mold!To the management - send your staff old or young to anger management or give them a script to follow! Its a shame that you treat your customers to a mental breakdown!

Do not go here. Second time that we’ve been given moldy bread. Not apologetic at all.

This place USED to be good. But now, they are very expensive and their breads taste so stale. I also had mold on a few of the rolls I bought. Won't be going back here and definitely don't recommend.

I have came to this place for years every time my cousin stays here from the Philippines for a long time. I love getting some of the desserts and breads, especially the ensaymadas. Great service as well, overall please come here honestly if in the area and want good quality stuff and/or want to try something new!

Buyer beware! The bakery items are called “ Fresh “ with mold and no expiration date on bags. If you take the chance, inspect your items carefully. Definitely will not return.

Nice staff and excellent tasting bread!! The only sad part was i bought a couple "Pan de Ube" only to find mold on all them the same day, just 2-3 hours after I bought them :( I was very sad after hyping them to my friends and family, only to have a few of us get food poisoning today. Very disappointed after thoroughly enjoying the delicious bread. If it wasn't moldy, I would have recommend this bakery hands down and already feel sad to write this. Maybe just triple check your bread for mold before buying it.

Lady by the register is rude not friendly/nice. Breads are usually stale, needs more filling and moldy the next day or 2. Cakes are not good. Never fresh. (Bergenfield location)

I happened to be in the area and picked up some bread. I thought it was odd when there were no customers there. My son had the ube Ensaymada bread that evening for dessert. That night, he came down with a stomach ache. The next morning, my daughter, my mother, and I had the rest of the Ensaymada bread for breakfast. The bread tasted stale so we decided to bake it to make it taste better. We tried the mango cake and to our dismay, the cake tasted like toxic chemicals! It literally tasted like detergent. I'm not sure what this bakery puts in their food, but they cannot continue to operate in this manner! We immediately spit out the cake and threw it all away. The bakery food was the only thing we ate that morning. Before noon, we all had suddenly gotten a stomach ache and diarrhea! My husband was the only one who didn't eat the bread and was fine. We all got food poisoning from this bakery! Unless you want food poisoning like us, I recommend to stay away!

You can find Filipino breads here. Their cakes are kind of expensive, more expensive than Red Ribbon.

Love their pianonos which comes in different flavors. Their cheese muffin tastes so good and cheesy.
