I am a loyal customer for red ribbon bergenfield and proud of the filipino food there. This time i am so pissed. I made a mistake placing the order on their website - theres option of pick up and delivery. I called right away 5x with 5-10 min space in between. Nobody picks up the phone. A guy called me at 4:30 asking when will i pick up the order. I told him what happened. He said they are understaff - one in kitchen and one in counter. Whenever i go to the store it was not that busy like jollibee. So nobody can even picks up and let me on hold? Their phone line does not even have voicemail. This turned me off i cant believe - IT WAS TERRIBLE better sit there and see if they will make your order on time. I will wait and see if they will give the refund 4-5 business days.

Got 2 bags worth of mamon. Went home and a majority of them had mold on it. We were going to go back to get a refund, but the business hours said they’re closed. It looks like a lot of the low star reviews are due to mold. This issue needs to be fixed, especially because it’s a health issue!!

The absence of proper cooling made the shopping experience intolerable, especially during the hot summer months. The stifling heat, potential health risks, compromised product quality, and lack of professionalism exhibited by the management were major drawbacks. The value of comfort and well-being of the employees are comprised immensely. Electric fans were not even set up to alleviate the heat. I was woozy due to my BP during my visit.I hope management will correct this issue immediately.

I bought Halo halo, they don't have Leche plan on there menu it does, 2nd on there display their Black Forest cake have Cherry the cake I bought don't have Cherries and they don't give bag, they want you to buy for all the items you bought.They should give bag with the minimum purchase

The staff who answered the phone call around 1005am she's so lazy and doesn't want to take phone reservation so lazy.

The Rocky Road cake is delicious! Not too sweet for a chocolate cake, will definitely recommend this to my family & friends. The cake itself is like their moist choco slice, but better in taste.This location is clean, but it needs to stock more breads especially butter pandesal.

Entered the empty store around 11:00 am. Bought a couple bags of their mamon and ensaymada. Person (male server) behind the counter was so curt and lacking in customer service training. Maybe he just didn’t like to be bothered while using his phone. No hello or any greeting. In a very curt voice, he asked “Is that all? You like to bag this for 10cents?” His demeanor was so off-putting that I just didn’t say anything and left. Regretted going to that store because of him.

Didn't know this place existed until yesterday but got to taste their Baked Goods this weekend, thanks to my Filipino friend. Tried couple different flavors of this soft bread she gave and I loved it. Especially the Ube one was ?Giving 4 Stars simply because I haven't tried anything else form here. Will update my rating later if I get to try more food items.

I just bought ensaimada, they are super dry. Very disappointed. What a waste of money and time. Fyi they don’t accept a 100 dollar bill which i already knew. Today the cashier told me that they don’t accept a $50 bill also.wth? After spending $35 no change for a $50 ? Smh!!!!

Great cake and bake shop! This is a popular chain from the Philippines and they offer a variety of cakes, pastries, breads and other treats.I'm not a big cake fan, but my Filipino friends really enjoy them from here. Lots of flavors to pick from too.Since I don't normally eat cake, I have no point of reference for the pricing. But it was roughly $42 for a regular sized cake. They do have plastic bags here which I am really grateful!!!!! It's nonsense that governor Murphy banned all bags recently, so stupid! Plastic bags are needed, wanted and useful. The bags they have here are sturdy too, so you can reuse them.The store charges roughly 50 cents per bag, which I think is stupid. People need a bag. Just fill the outside of that plastic bag with awesome Red Ribbon logos, some huge detailed photos of the cakes and treats and you have free store advertising every time a customer walks out the store carrying a cake in one of your awesome bags. Everyone on the street seeing those bags with delicious cakes on them will wonder where they can buy a yummy cake like that. Advertising works. Don't charge the customer, just let them help you advertise for free.Parking here is insane unfortunately. This is no fault to the owner of the store. It is how the downtown area of Bergenfield was designed around a hundred years ago when most people had horses and very little traffic, no need for tons of parking. If the very few street parking spots are all full, there are large, free parking lots on the parallel back streets, Portland Ave and Legion Drive. The Portland parking lot is closer to Red Ribbon.Employees are super friendly and helpful. They are also quick to help.There are some indoor seating and during warmer months they have some outdoor seating as well.Very clean inside.
