Small place but great food! Took take out during the quarantine and one of my favorite pad kee mao's so far. Pad see ew was great, too! Had issues with other Thai places being a bit too bland. Would definitely come again

I'm glad I discovered Taan Thai during covid-19. The Thai places nearby had 2 hour pick up times and with a growling tummy that wasn't gonna fly. Called Taan Thai and they said 30 min and my stomach did cartwheels. I've been back 3 more times and I do enjoy their food. Favorites so far: beef pad see ew, chicken med ma muang and shrimp prik king. This is a take out only place so definitely take advantage during this time. Call in your order as the prices are more expensive on the delivery sites.

I really wanted to like this place, I was craving Thai and the reviews all looked promising. Ive been searching for good local Thai food, this was not the place. We ordered Thai wings ($7 for 4 wings!! A bit $$), curry puffs ($7 for 4 small ehh), Pad Thai and the chicken were dry; Pad see Ew had old, dry, pale/discolored regular broccoli, the beef was tough and hard, the noodles were falling apart. The Thai iced tea had regular and crushed ice in it (who are they trying to fool?) taking up space. I just was really underwhelmed. As noted above, I really wanted to like this place, in searching for good local Thai, this was not it. I don't generally write reviews but felt the need to with this. Very disappointed.

Place is delicious ! I got the chicken pad thai extra spicy and curry puffs with peanut sauce ! Mouth Orgasm , called ahead for sure ! Craving some now just writing about it !

I go to this restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot routinely. The meals are excellent, the staff members are helpful and the payment is good. I like going in this spot for a rich meal.

Tiny neighborhood gem that serves up delicious, authentic Thai cuisine. Menu has a good variety of offerings and the prices are reasonable. I ordered Thai wings, Pad See Ew, Thai fried rice, Massaman curry, and Kao Soi. All the dishes except for the Kao Soi were excellent. The Thai wings and Massaman curry in particular were my favorites. The flavor was excellent and I really liked the spices used in those two dishes. I can see myself ordering from here pretty regularly moving forward.

Hands down the best Thai food I've had in Bergen County. & the wings are a must! The food is consistently good. The restaurant is small but very cute. If you can't make it to their location, they're on door dash too.

This place is solely a takeout place. There are no tables to eat there. The food is flavorful and authentic but also pretty spicy and I usually eat spicy foods well. We ordered the thai basil duck, pad kee mao, and red curry but liked the pad kee mao and thai basil duck much more than the curry. The curry was missing a bit of flavor and that sweet element. Portions are good and other than the unexpected spice level, we enjoyed our food.
Food poison alert!!! I was in the rush that day. So I stop by to have a quick meal in this takeout place.I had a spicy Larb chicken, a very chewy dry crispy beef and Tom Yum soup, right after that meal I have a really bad stomach ache also diarrhea. I saw they're using microwave to heat up dumplings, and some other frozen food. That's ridiculous! It was too late to cancel my order after seeing that because it's already made. I'm very disappointed and felt sick after the meal. Never again!!
