The wait staff couldn't be nicer! I had the pasta bolognese which was amazing. A tiny bit too noisy but great atmosphere otherwise
Excellent restaurant, food and service was delicious. Always have a great experience when I dine there.
Dinner with friends and it was a very nice time. The food and service was very good. It is casual dining with a homemade Italian flair. The Murphy Farms chicken dish is excellent and so are the trout, sole and red snapper dishes. I was not wowed by the Zuppa di pesce, it had way too many salmon (6) pieces and only one scallop, a couple of shrimp, with very little calamari rings, 3 clams an 4 mussels. The black ink linguini was cooked al dente and it was delicious. I'm not sure I would order this dish again. The chicken parmesan was also a nice option. Our guest said that he enjoyed the veal parmesan, which was so huge, that he took left half of it. home. Be warned that the sound level is very energetic. Conversation is challenging and getting a table on the perimeter of the dining room is advised.
We love this place! It is operated with such passion and family values, and it shows. The food is prepared with love and a lifetime of restaurant experience. The staff is caring and connected. Lalo and the whole team make ever patron feel like a VIP.
The waitstaff were friendly, attentive and NOT hovering! The portions were generous and the food was very flavorful. It is a BYO, which gets an extra star from me. A very pleasant dining experience!
The food was very good but the noise level was deafening. We could barely have a conversation with our dinner companions. It was so loud that it was painful at times. We were hoping to have found a new favorite spot, but we will not be back unless there is some reason to think that the noise has abated.
Excellent restaurant. The waiters never rush you no matter how busy the restaurant may be. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding. The ownership is caring and attentive.
Seating, service, food all exceptional. Chicken Parmesan, Short Ribs w/polenta, Veal Saltimbooca, Clams Oreganata, all delicious! Owner a great guy! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
We were pleasantly surprised by our first visit to Amerigo. The food was excellent with the chicken the most tender of any that I have had at a restaurant. Service was pleasant and professional. The restaurant itself is somewhat loud, but the food was so well prepared that it did not matter.
They had a great selection of food, it was very good and the service was excellent. The noise level, however was very high. We were a party of 6 and it was difficult to hear each other.

Server was friendly and professional. Knew the menu very well and was able to answer all our questions
We were a party of 4 on a Saturday night at 5:45 . Definitely were rushed as they looked to turn those tables. Appetizer came out and as soon as we were finished our dinners arrived. The eggplant entree was burned and then covered up with melted Mozzerella. The veal parmigan was good but the side of pasta was not thoughly cooked. We asked for al dente but it cracked when we attempted to bite into it. Not looking to return anytime soon.
The service is amazing here. Plenty of staff always attending to your table. The food recommendations by staff are always excellent. We are regulars at Amerigo because they are welcoming, consistent, and the best value for superior quality food anywhere in the area. Hands down this restaurant is not to be missed.
we went to Amerigo for the first time last week. we were very disappointed in the seating arrangement. i am sure they want to squeeze as many tables in as possible and we were very disappointed in the abundance of half booth half table seating. the tables were maybe if even two feet wide, your dinner plate and bread plate couldnit fit side to side, forget having a drink near you. you are so close to the person next to you have to walk sideways to get between the tables. forget having a nice conversation with your dinner partner. the person next to me again sooooo close had an abundance of perfume on it was difficult to enjoy your food. the wait staff hovered and pulled your plates while you were still chewing your food....grabbed the bread plate before you could have your second piece (they probably knew dinner was coming and there would be no room on table for dinner plate). overall felt very rushed.(as they handed us the check before we finished dessert) they need to remove one or two of these very small tables to give people breathing room.
A new favorite go to! The Spaghetti Carbonara was delicious as was the risotto chosen by my friend!
