Everything was great. The 4/5 for service is just because everyone is so friendly they talk to all the customers and it can be hard to get their timely attention. Probably fine for most people not in a rush.

Ten stars out of five if I could! Local gem in the style of a European bistro. Fabulously lush floral interior decor, whimsical bathroom fixtures. Phenomenal food, Mahi Mahi entrée had perfect sear on the fish and exquisite sauce pairing. Short rib was melting tender, well matched to the buttery rich mashed potato especially great for having discernible bits of it (not homogeneous goo). Crispy onion slice a nice crunch factor. Roasted carrots sweet and nice burst of color. Bonna (Bona?) took great care of us and was super gracious and Tony as well. Bravo!

My favorite New Jersey restaurant! Not only was the food amazing, Tony and his team went out of their way to provide personalized service through addressing dietary restrictions and making sure that everyone was enjoying the food and had enough to eat. I even left my phone at the restaurant and it was returned to me the next day fully charged 😊 the perfect restaurant for hosting a private event!

We had an enchanting dinner Friday. Jessica's 40th occupied the entire inside and we knew in advance we would be outside. The service was charming and exceptional professional for the burbs. We split a wedge salad and went on to Spaghetti Nera with Seafood, and an awesome Branzino. The management is wonderfully welcoming with hospitality deep in there souls!

Very tasty! We had the colossal meatballs, beet salad, cacio e Pepe with gnocchi, and a burger. I have to say that everything was delicious and cooked / prepared to perfection! All fresh, high quality meats and vegetables and you can taste the difference. 5 stars all the way!!

My family and I are incredibly grateful to have Tony & Cafe Vincotto in our town! We recently hired Tony to help with all of the catering for a celebration we hosted at our home. We had about 30 guests and all of our guests continued to talk about how the food was so delicious! I thought I ordered too much food but we barely had any leftovers! Tony was amazing in every way—quick to communicate, easy to work with, tremendous hospitality, fabulous food in a beautifully decorated and warm environment. Cafe Vincotto is the best restaurant in Berkley Heights! The octopus was perfectly cooked, and the house-made pasta was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service made the experience even better. Don’t skip dessert—the baklava was amazing! Can’t wait to come back.
