Maybe it was the anticipation of the storm but something was in the air last night. The restaurant was packed, festive, and you could feel the energy. And the kitchen was humming - every dish was delicious. The staff too was in the zone. Great night and so glad to have this gem nearby.

Grain&Cane its a hided gem for sure !!! We went there for an ad-hoc reservation and i was super impressed by the atmosphere, food and everything. For sure its worth it to have a dinner or a special brunch ! You will not regret it !

Nice menu with a variety of offerings to satisfy our family. The half chicken was exceptional. It was tasty and perfectly cooked for the most succulent effect. The desserts are expectional too.

We had a very nice New Year's Eve dinner. We especially enjoyed the roasted Brussel sprouts and the lobster cobb salad. There was a guitar player playing vintage light rock music, and given our age, that was enjoyable for us. Our server was very attentive.

Everything was great as usual. We did have to wait a very long time for the waiter to pick up our check and credit card so we could pay and leave. We finally had to ask another waiter walking by to help us. We had asked for the check when dessert was served and got it right away. This should have been an indication that we were not intending to linger after dessert.

I like coming to this place with family and friends. Usually brunch. But last night was not the best. First I was seated next to a big crowd (we were 2 people). I asked to be moved. The only good part was a glass of prosecco and the devil cake. Last night (for my birthday) I was hoping for a better experience and food. Better luck next time...

Changed a bit since we were last at G&C. Main dining area was loud; had to yell across the table to converse. Was hoping for a real menu - appetizers/entrees/dessert - but looked like a bar menu with restaurant pricing on a Saturday night. Still, we all enjoyed the food that was available and the service was very good. Again, disappointed about the limited menu and no wine-by-the-bottle list. Perhaps our expectations were higher because the last time we were at G&C, EVERYTHING was GREAT!!! Probable won't be back unless the menu selection for full dinner service expands and improves.

The staff are always pleasant and attentive. The kitchen is very aware of foods allergies.

First waiter was great, but he left and the 2nd one was horrible. He improved after I asked if we could have another waiter. Food was okay. Fantastic sound track, great environment but food and service were meh. . . likely won't go back.

Food was delicious! Burger, ricotta, and mushrooms were all 10/10. Margarita pizza was also great. Julia was our server, helpful in checking on food allergies so we could safely eat!! Overall great experience :)

Excellent service! Yesterday my husband and me received outstanding attention from our waiter — he was very kind, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. He truly made our dining experience even better. Thank you Avery!
