Love having a Korean spot in Berkeley Heights. It is a good place if you have a craving for Korean during the week. Mrs Park is super friendly and treats my daughter like her own. I like the kimchi stew and tofu stews. The chicken wings are also stellar.

The quality of food is not the greatest. I can still feel the taste of a horrible oil they use for cooking. My dish was lukewarm and the veggies on it were cold when brought to our table. My husband's dish was sizzling hot. The food was brought to our table minutes after we ordered that is clear that is premade. The place looks worn out. There are boxes and supplies everywhere. The hostess and waiters are wearing old sweats - not professional at all. I'm not looking for a night gown but employees are the face of the restaurant. Overall, the low quality of food is not worth the price they are charging. No wonder the place was empty on Saturday night.

There is really no place better. This place is Berkeley Height's best hidden gem. The food is amazing, and the service is out of this world. The owner is a saint. She works so hard and always makes us feel so welcome. You can not go wrong here! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Found this place for lunch after taking my son for doctors appointment in area. Now we schedule his appointments around lunch so we can eat here afterwards. Food is spectacular and the woman the runs/owns the place extremely nice and is so sweet to my son.

If I could give zero stars I would. The waitress or owner with the sweatpants had the worst attitude. Not only did she not greet us at the door, she was rude to my party of 16 the whole time. She didn't give us time to look at the menu stating that they had other reservations, and after getting the food she rushed us the whole time. My kids were still eating and she came by with boxes to wrap food! Speaking of the food, they were the worst Korean food I've ever had. My soondubu tasted like sink water and to top it off, the menu stated that I should get oysters in my soup but when I saw there weren't any, I told the waitress. Not only was she not apologetic, she told me that she used pre packaged seafood and sometimes there is oyster and other times there isn't. What kind of bullshit is that?! The menu specifically says that it should have oysters, but according to her it was the luck of the draw?! I was fuming. If it wasn't for my sibling's bday celebration, I would've made a bigger scene. Imagine 16 people having dinner and a cake: at a normal restaurant it would be an easy 3 hours. We went from leaving the car to returning in 2 hours because the rude lady kept hovering over us the whole time, making it uncomfortable. We spent a half hour in the parking lot chatting afterwards so we were in the restaurant for only 1.5 hours. It was the worst experience in a Korean restaurant. Skip the headache and go somewhere else that cares about providing a good time. By the way, most of the previous reviews state that this place is authentic and the waitress is nice. Those must be paid or fake reviews because they use store bought instant noodles and cheap prepackaged frozen seafood! They don't own up to their mistakes, and they're rude to boot! I will never return.

Food was delicious. The best part is the waiter slash owner(I think). She was amazing and funny. Reminded me of my mom.

Authentic and delightful, fans of Korean cuisine will enjoy a moderately priced menu that offers some traditional Korean dishes with a few other Asian favorites. The beef ribs are memorably tender and flavorful as are the tofu stews. Very reasonably priced so it's excellent value.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at SEOULITE, a Korean food establishment, and I must say that my experience left a lasting impression. The standout feature of this restaurant, for me, was undoubtedly the exceptional quality of their kimchi. It is without a doubt the best kimchi I have ever had. The flavors were vibrant and perfectly balanced, and it had that delightful, satisfying crunch that is a hallmark of well-prepared kimchi. But the culinary excellence at SEOULITE didn't stop with their kimchi. I also had the pleasure of trying their bibimbap, and it was simply outstanding. The dish was not only visually appealing with its colorful array of vegetables, but the taste was equally impressive. The ingredients were fresh, and the combination of flavors was harmonious.Another highlight of my visit was the army soup, which I found to be a comforting and hearty bowl of goodness. It was well-seasoned and had that comforting warmth that only a well-crafted soup can provide. The overall dining experience at SEOULITE was wonderful. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It's clear that the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their food.

Overall, nice place. Tteokbokki size is relatively small but delicious. Kimchi stew was okay, not great. Banchans and service were great. Very attentive owner/ waitress who went the extra mile to adjust orders.

On the way home after a trip to Manhattan, I stopped by a Korean restaurant because it had good Google reviews! As expected, it was the best. The owner was friendly and the food was really delicious. The side dishes are also neat~ Beef stew. Stir-fried pork belly with red pepper paste. I recommend it? It was like food made by my own mother.Boss ~ I’m really thankful for the precious food and enjoyed it. ♡
