a guy i know, named ed, told me that the ADH served the best lark’s tongue in aspic on the eastern seaboard - alas, it wasn’t on the menu when we went down there... so i had the capon instead which was delicious and succulent and the flames didn’t burn my eyebrows
Prices are good. People are good. The music is usually good on the nights they have it. They have a large assortment of beers. That's great if you're into that. Cowboy burger is the best, love their fries and their chips. They have the best soups. If you can't decide on soup get the soup sampler. You won't be disappointed. Waitresses are nice but they don't always have enough on staff so service is slow sometimes. If you are there to enjoy your friends...
Favorite place for my wife and I, great servers, if you like crispy wings, ask for them to be put back on the grill after - they're incredible. The owner has his own recipes for everything including dips, dressings, pies and some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. My wife hates cheesecake and liked his. They also do something unique for soup - like a beer pale where you sample several, but soup. It's awesome.
