This is what their rolls look like super disappointed

We should have known not to stay when we came in, the place was completely empty and had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come out from
the back to seat us. Everything we ate (salads & sushi) was bland. For the price we paid we could have went up the block and had a much more delicious meal.

Very poor customer service. They were very rude when we called about our order that was wrong. We spent a large amount of money on dinner for take out. It was wrong . We called to question our order only to be yelled at by the woman who demanded we send her a picture of our food. Terrible terrible service and the food was not fresh. We would recommend finding another place for sushi and hibachi . I usually do not leave reviews but to be treated this way is very unprofessional.

I’ve been going to Banji for years and can’t recommend it enough to locals. It’s such a good hole in the wall! Sushi is always so fresh, we get the same waitress everytime cause it’s a small family business and she’s always nice and remembers my order. Place is clean. Cute comfy atmosphere perfect for a chill sushi night. My boyfriend and I come here all the time for a laid back sushi date night his favorite is any of the fried rice or the chicken tempura. I personally love their miso soup, princess roll, and Philly roll.

Got food poisoning from the Philly roll. Will never eat here again.

It used to be much better. After Covid, not so much. The portion size has definitely changed.IMO, Not worth the money .

Do not eat here! They have a cockroach problem!!! Went out to eat with my friend and saw one on the wall next to where we were eating. Told the woman and she came over to kill it and walk away like nothing happened. We were so grossed out we couldn’t even eat our entree. We went up to the desk to tell them we were leaving and only paying for the appetizer we ate not the meal since we did not touch it at all. The woman tried to give us an issue for not wanting to pay but eventually stopped fighting it and we only ended up paying for what we actually ate. We are definitely reporting this. Do better as a restaurant or get shut down permanently.

The women there is such nasty nasty person with no customer service skills. We walked in and she said sit where ever. No greeting or anything. I would not eat there if it was free. Food is bland and the table had dirty spots on it. I do not recommend this place at all. There are better places to spend your hard earned money.

A Cocker Roach ran across the table while we were eating. I slapped a napkin over it and called the waitress. She said oh and picked it up in the napkin and walked away. LOL AND the soup was cold and she didnt even offer to take domething off the bill....NEVER EATING THERE

i ordered rock shrimp which the sauce was just god awful, the hibachi was swimming in soup and didn’t have any taste, the best thing i had was the golden spider roll (it had the most flavor)for the price i paid for everything vs what i got plus flavor, easy 1/5 stars

Great food and generous portions for the price! They always stuff the container when I get food to go and the authentic Japanese food always tastes great!
