This is one of our frequently visited restaurants. Service at the tables and at the Bar or outside on the patio is always prompt and friendly. Menu is varied enough to suit anyone's taste. Well worth a visit for a good meal. sufficient parking in their lot. They are closed on Mondays.

This is not the first time eating at Shady Rest but we just ate dinner (5 people) this Saturday and might be our last time. The pizza was good But all our dinners had a different taste and the French Onion Soup was very salty. Don’t know if they have a different chef but the food had such a different taste. 😞

My husband and I visited Shady Rest for the first time, and we were truly impressed. We each started with soup, and it was incredibly fresh, you could immediately tell it was homemade. Our entrées were absolutely amazing as well: flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared.
The staff was very kind and attentive throughout our meal, which made the experience even better. We’re so glad we tried Shady Rest and will definitely be returning!

I ordered the mussels. They charged $18.
They were small with empty shells and no flavor, must have been frozen or cooked for ever! Never again! Shame on you for service such poor quality food!
