Great food and portion size, kind staff and clean but comfortable restaurant! Attached is the quesadilla bistec (corn) as well as the semita de la res! both were fantastic!!

When I came here, the total was 1.18 over what I had, staff was completely understanding and it was no hassle, amazing service and amazing food as well (burritos drowned in red sauce was the best)

Today Sunday I came to eat to the restaurant and it says it opens at 11:30 and its 12:00 and never opened I was waiting and they saw me waiting and they never opened the door a lot of people were waiting also and they never opened the people left

I ordered the fajitas. They came out very burnt. I don’t complain to servers having been on for a long time. To my surprise without me even saying anything The chef cooked me a new one. Again I didn’t ask for it. They just said they didn’t like the way it came out. I got my bill. I paid it. It wasn’t until I got home. I realized they charged me for the second order of fajitas. No big deal I thought it was my fault for not looking. I went back another time. I got my bill and There was $35 worth of food. I never ordered on it. I guess just check your bill when you leave and be prepared to sit and wait several minutes before someone comes and serves you. The food is decent but the place across the street is much better. 06/09/2025 The food was absolutely amazing. Probably one of tge more authentic establushments i have been to in the area. Our group of 4 ordered way to much for the portions we received. I have lunch, dinner, and maybe lunch for the next day. Staff seemed a bit annoyed at the amount of food we ordered, and when we received it we understood why.all in all ,a great experience. Was probably around $35 per person. Could have been lower, but like I said we had enough food to probably feed another 4 or 5 people.

Favorite Mexican restaurant in NJ

The employees were very kind! One even carried out my drinks for me to my car. It was easy to order over the phone, and the restaurant itself looked very clean and inviting. I loved seeing a bit of their culture expressed through their decor, music, and hospitality.

The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because the prices I saw online prior to calling in my order ended up being very off to the actual price I paid. It was nearly double! $80 for two people to eat (included one entree each, one side order, 1 shared appetizer, and drinks).

Food is good. However, if they happen to mess up your order, you are stuck with it. DO NOT expect them to do right by you. You will be obligated to eat it or take it home with and you and pay for it as well.
Advice to the owner from another business owner: The client is always right!

Excellent Food & Services. Establishment has solid dishes to choose from. The Staff are very Professional & Down To Earth . Truly a Recommended Establishment. My 2 go to dishes are the Steak Burrito with the works & well pressed & the Chicken Quesadillas.

Delicious food with generous portions! This spot serves very authentic dishes, so don’t expect your food to come out quickly—but it’s well worth the wait. If you have some time and a big appetite, this place is phenomenal. The portions are large, the food is flavorful, and the service is friendly. I also appreciated that they’re no longer cash-only. For the quality and quantity of food, the prices are excellent.
