Best wings in town
Went to Golden Nugget because we were in the area. Second time there and haven't been disappointed. Found seats at the bar and enjoyed cold beer and a specialty cocktail. Had their lobster bisque, and we each had cheese steaks. The bisque and the cheese steaks were delicious! Just the right amount of fried onions in one of the sandwiches and the right amount of lettuce and tomato in the other. All for a reasonable price. Want to try their wings during our next visit. Definitely will return.
UPDATE 07/03: Stopped back at the Golden Nugget, and their cheese steak is still delicious!!
Get the wings!
Wings are phenomenal!! Very addicting! Once you have one you can’t stop! And their homemade Buffalo sauce is great!
John says scallops were BANGIN! Wings are crunchy and the people are social! Fun chill spot!
A dive, but a great dive!!
They kicked me out in the cold at last call…it’s the law, no problem. But when uber kept delaying i had to request PD assistance… And they signed a no trespass order against me when the PD arrived…for sitting in the cold with no coat. Didn’t even know they went inside. What a crappy end to my retirement celebration… #FirstRespondersBoycottGoldenNugget!

Local dive bar with live music. Good service. Food is okay but overpriced for the portion especially being served on paper plates. Bones wings were small and dry, but better than bone in. Bone in wings were small and dry.

It's a bar with a kitchen that makes the best wings in the area. They only have a few flavors so if you are looking for variety, the Golden Nugget isn't for you. If you just want wings so good that you Sir and finish 100 of the little bastards without a drink, stop in and get yourself a pint and a plate.
Kid-friendliness: It's a bar. It's safe but the music is loud and the adults are having adult fun that may not always be appropriate for the kiddos.

Just giving an initial profile of this place. It's definitely a local hit and hangout for some time. I've seen the lot full to the brim quite often. Buffalo bites are tasty and made with care and technique, so I'll be trying the wings (which I've heard good things of) and more. Vibe is very laid back older school, and did I say local? Thought this spot has to be like a lifetime go-to for more than a few, and after seeing 1956 on the website.. that's for sure!

This place is an awesome, hitting gem of South Jersey! Great atmosphere, great music, bartenders have always been awesome, the prices are reasonable, and the food is outstanding!
I only go here for the wings, however, however, my girlfriend has saved a bunch of stuff off the menu and has always been happy. Last night it was the cheesesteak eggrolls, before it was a cheesesteak, or a burger, whatever she’s gotten she’s enjoyed.
However, let’s talk about the wings. I’ve usually stick to bone in regular wings, they really only have one wing sauce, but they’ve recently added a jerk flavor? I haven’t tried that one yet, but I’ve heard good things and I will next time. The source to use Tony’s wing sauce. Places like Mount Royal and use it, you can purchase it at Bringhurst meats or some other small markets in the area. It’s really good. The wings always come out perfectly Kris Juicy always have enough sauce and blue cheese is really good as well. They also offer, and I am usually not a boneless wing guy. Because boneless wings are a thing chicken nuggets, and I don’t even know what they call them on the menu, but I’m pretty sure they call Mike nuggets. But they are ham, breaded chicken breast pieces, cut up and fried and covered wing sauce. They’ve never come out. They always come out in the mood for wings but things off the bone will split a double order.
Anyway, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s really good, just know it’s like a country dive bar. Nothing fancy just really good people and good times.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking around the back right in front of a long ramp that lead you into the back entrance. It wasn’t well lit, but it is what it is.

By far the worst chicken wings I've had in a while. Super dry and didnt have any flavor. I'd had better wings at Chuck-E-Cheese no lie. The customer service is terrible and wouldn't recommend.
