The gnocchi seems missing, which I used to like a lot. Eggplant Parm was excellent. Farfalle Teresa was good. The mulled wine was great. All other dishes were very good.

Three people tonight 10/31. What I wanted. I order once a week same thing veal masala. Couldn’t understand. Please very frustrating. Transferred me to two other people. This didn’t just happen to night it’s always.

First time here and loved the food. Slightly more expensive than we would have normally paid but definitely worth the extra.
Great service and a really nice place to sit, talk and eat.

I can’t believe how long I’ve lived here and never tried this place. Had lunch with a friend and the food was excellent. Service was good but it was pretty empty so not sure now they are when it’s crowded. Good portion sizes and nice variety. The almond joy dessert was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Cafe Rustica is a Basking Ridge secret. Hidden away from the town, not exactly in the middle of a destination. But, the food is great, service is great. When you're here, you feel like you're at Mom's house. And aside from the fine Italian dishes, the kids love the pizza. We often order here when we're at the Pleasant Valley Pool.
Food with love and flavor. We drove pass this place with our windows down and it smelled so amazing we turned around and decided to have dinner here instead of the place we were headed to. I had the filet miñon and my hubby had the veal parm. Out of this world flavorfull. Our waiter was on point with her recos with food and wine. Service was above par. We will be back!

We were there for my daughters birthday this past Saturday. My wife and my daughter's boyfriend had the seared salmon which they loved. My daughter had the chicken parm, which she said was good. Her only "complaint" was that the sauce was a bit too sweet for her taste, but the portion was good and the chicken was cooked well. My son enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. He's not very adventerous. I had the Capellini Napoletani. It was very good. The capellini was cooked perfectly for my taste as was the shrimp, clams and calamari. Very tender. The sauce was great. This is our go-to for great food and is my wife's favorite. She is returning with coworkers for lunch on Tuesday. Service is top notch. Keep up the good work. We'll definately be returning.
Keeping this short, the pizza is out of this world! Get the #4 you can’t go wrong. The dough is the best around absolutely love Cafe Rustica
...but we didnt find the dishes to be very flavorful. Beef Carpaccio appetizer is served with an aioli that overwhelms the meat. The seafood angel hair dish best described as bland. The carbonara fettuccine dish was flavorful, but the sauce was thin, almost like a soup. But there was a ton of nice chicken. I am sure they have better dishes than what we had, as the place is very popular.
One and a half hours is just too long to sit there waiting on your entre. No apps, no special order just 35 minutes for salad, another 50 for entre. Ridiculous.

Best take out pizza pie in the area. At this point we won’t even try another place because anything else would ruin pizza night. My wife essentially grew our baby on their pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad, and the kid turned out to be an absolute stud. Now he’s our delicious little pepperoni!
