We used to dine here at least once a month, back when this place was managed by Delicious Heights. After hearing only negative things about Tavern 26, we decided to try it out ourselves. The service was inattentive and very slow and the food was inedible. Upon being seated, 2 tables near us barely touched their food and complained to the staff about the food quality, and then we realized why...Delicious heights was not perfect, but the new management leaves a lot of room for improvement. The only things which remained unchanged are the views and the ambiance, but this isn't enough to bring us back anytime soon.

We made a reservation to dine at this tavern. When we showed up there was a sign on the door that said closed due to water main break until further notice. It appeared they had been closed for days and never turned off their open table which presented some challenges to find another restaurant in the area on a Saturday night. Poor management not to update their online status.
Great setting and menu, just not well managed. Third try and 3rd time with an issue. At 8:00 on a Saturday night we were handed our bill. When we asked about dessert/coffee we were told the kitchen was closed. Really miss the Outpost as this was a regular spot for us.
I was there last Saturday and Joanna was my server, she was the best! She has the best attitude and she is so funny.

Visited with a family group of five. Ambiance outside was relaxing; service was good BUT 3 of the 5 food selections were unacceptable. The brisket sandwich sounded delightful…unfortunately it was too tough to consume and the 1/2 chicken below par.
The kitchen clearly needs culinary help!
First time here since it became XXVI. Food was good. I gave a 5 for service because our server, Melanie, was outstanding. However, drinks were extremely slow to come out. The food came out quickly and the runners/bussers were extremely quick. The setting is magnificent.

Food overall was good. Twice cooked wings with habanero sauce were excellent. Pressed burger was good if you like your burgers smashed. Brisket sandwich was just ok. Not the best brisket I've had. Bacon is added to make up for the lack of true smoke flavor. And could have used more of the house made BBQ sauce which was excellent. Exclusive Kolsch beer by Glenbrook was delicious. Menu listed at $5 but bill charged $7. Melanie, our awesome server, adjusted the bill. The service, in general including runners/bussers was outstanding and attentive except for the bar which was slow getting our beverages (just beer and wine). The setting was magnificent.
Was a nice place to sit outside and enjoy a meal.

Food is not good at all. Everything is dry and has no taste.

Nice place with upscale tavern menu and a nice view of the golf course. Although it's not listed on their menu, they also have a typical children's menu and is generally a pretty kid friendly place in my experience. Nice drink selections as well.
We had lunch here the other day and it was just outstanding. We ate out on the patio and the landscaping and view is just stunning. Service was great. I ate a lobster roll that was overflowing and delicious. My friend had an app and a squash bisque that were both really good too. I would go back here in a heartbeat.
Calamari was sent back - came out cold and tasted fishy. Was extremely disappointed that the French dip sandwich wasn't available... didn't realize it's a seasonal menu. The view, of course, is lovely, flies indoors are never welcome - way too many!!!
Food disappointing (apparently there were issues with the kitchen staff, three people fired that morning) and after almost an hour wait, our brunch entries came out cold. Bat Manager gave us a small discount - but if he looked at our plates, he would have seen the food was basically untouched. This place is hit or miss...been there before and had a good experience, but likely won't be back.
