First time here since it became XXVI. Food was good. I gave a 5 for service because our server, Melanie, was outstanding. However, drinks were extremely slow to come out. The food came out quickly and the runners/bussers were extremely quick. The setting is magnificent.
Food overall was good. Twice cooked wings with habanero sauce were excellent. Pressed burger was good if you like your burgers smashed. Brisket sandwich was just ok. Not the best brisket I've had. Bacon is added to make up for the lack of true smoke flavor. And could have used more of the house made BBQ sauce which was excellent. Exclusive Kolsch beer by Glenbrook was delicious. Nice place with upscale tavern menu and a nice view of the golf course. Although it's not listed on their menu, they also have a typical children's menu and is generally a pretty kid friendly place in my experience. Nice drink selections as well.
