Asked for a poppy bagel with veggie cream cheese. After clerk grabbed the bagel, but before applying any cream cheese, I said, "Can I switch that to sundried tomato cream cheese? Same bagel, different spread."Minutes later: "That'll be $8.50.""What?""Yeah, two poppy bagels, one with veggie and one with sundried tomato.""No, I asked to change the cream cheese. I only wanted one bagel."So much for the "customer is always right." You're supposed to correct the order and not insist I pay. That's how you lose customers.

I've lived close to this business for over 12 yrs and can't believe this was the first time that I've visited (and it was only cuz I was too lazy to go to our usual place). As I walked in, the owner greeted me by name (WAIT, WHAT? That was really cool). She asked what brought me over to that side of the street (I guess she's seen me walk around town?). She was so nice that I had to order a bagel for me (I was going to get a smoothie from another place that was near the other place). She made me a sesame bagel with chives, cream cheese and plump fresh tomato with black pepper. I tell you, this was the best bagel I've had in my life! Super soft, every bite was full of flavor. That wasn't the best part, the best part was that the bagel she made me was her mother's favorite, she called it The Ruthie (AWWWEE, hope I spelled it correct). That made it taste better. Thanks Bagel Bin, I'll be definitely stopping by again and again.

The best bagels I've ever had! The owners were so kind, I felt like I was at home in my jammies getting served fresh hazelnut coffee and breakfast sandwich on a fresh made bagel from my auntie! (And yes , I mean FRESH). I watched them being made since I was a little bit early. Amazing gluten free bagels and sandwiches! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a dedicated preparation space for gluten free bagels. They also make all of their spreads in house.

Ever since I was in HS this has been my favorite bagel place… And 20 years later I still drive out of my way to get a bagel here. In my opinion. No one can compete with their recipe.
I am not a fan of the cakey-style bagels found elsewhere in the area. The Bagel Bin offers a significant range of New York style bagels freshly made and often still warm. The service is friendly family style. The bagel: "chef" is also a woodworker in his off hours so there is a nice display of his work in the shop. Parking is very convenient.

Have been driving 30 minutes to bagel bin from my home because they are that good. Went today for my usual order of a dozen bagels and the man making the bagels called me an a-hole under his breath but clear enough for me to make out.. lady behind counter wasn’t overly friendly but didn’t call me any names. Bagels were great and I’ll continue to come back. I don’t mind nasty owners/employees if the food is good. You never know why one is mean. Maybe I’m not supposed to order a dozen bagels early in the morning? Who knows why he cursed in my direction but he can curse all he wants as long as he’s up early making those bagels. He could put a little more seasoning on the everything.. he was tasting the bagel seasoning on his fingers for those concerned about cleanliness. I’ll be back even though they aren’t the friendliness but hard to argue when you’re up early everyday if the week.

These are simply the best bagels to be found anywhere. They are made the traditional way and so have firm crunch on the outside, but great flavor inside. Plus the staff is friendly, professional, and deeply bound to the civic activities of the Bernardsville community. The perfect local business.
