A calm breakfast experience with the kids here. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The kid activity they provided was unique and kept my child busy. This could become our go-to brunch place.
Bernards Cafe is a favorite spot for affordable comfort food. You won't be coming here for the trendy experience or grand cuisine, but you also won't be disappointed. The menu selection is massive, making it an ideal spot for a good, quick, hearty meal or takeout when you get tired of the million Italian restaurants in Bernardsville. We especially love the meatloaf, the French dip, prime rib sandwich au jus, Jalapeño poppers, French onion soup, pastas, and more, but...
Nice lunch. Came later on Presidents Day. Sat down, drink order taken. About 15 minutes until drinks arrived and order taken Grilled Portobello Sandwich and Italian Hot Dog. Food arrived about 20 minutes later. Both delicious. Delays seem due to short staffing. Absolutely will come back.
