Living in Bernardsville, the Bernardsville Cafe has been a staple for our family for many years. They serve consistently good cafe food. I recommend the family meals for a good take out option ( the chicken parm and penne vodka with the cafe salad is a top choice). Their salads are good, with the chicken Milanese being our favorite. LOVE Bernards Cafe. Live locally in town and they are always our go to if we want a salad or wrap, but they also have great dinner specials and SOUPS!! Appreciate their pricing always being pretty reasonable.
I was surprised to find a restaurant with excellent food and reasonable prices in swanky Bedminster. The pumpkin soup was as good or better than my best butternut squash. The chicken salad in my wrap was fresh and yummy. The bonus thick potato chips in the copper cup -- memorable. Worth a 20-minute shlep from my more humble zip code!
