A calm breakfast experience with the kids here. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The kid activity they provided was unique and kept my child busy. This could become our go-to brunch place.
Bernards Cafe is a favorite spot for affordable comfort food. You won't be coming here for the trendy experience or grand cuisine, but you also won't be disappointed. The menu selection is massive, making it an ideal spot for a good, quick, hearty meal or takeout when you get tired of the million Italian restaurants in Bernardsville. We especially love the meatloaf, the French dip, prime rib sandwich au jus, Jalapeño poppers, French onion soup, pastas, and more, but...
The Bernards Cafe delivers incredible value for excellent food. They have M/T/W specials. Last night, our first entree was their delicious shortribs with mashed and kale ($18.95). The second was the pasta special ($14.95) which included salad/soup, 8 choices of pasta, and dessert. Shared the fresh Caesar salad. Penne with Vodka Sauce was perfect and generous enough for leftovers. Shared the large brownie with ice cream and whipped cream. Get $5 off $30 with the Connections coupon....
