We got takeout twice- wanted to give a chance. Terrible service and bad food both times. Will never go here again and do not recommend, and I’d recommend you not waste your time nor money here.

Order took 85 minutes to process after my order was given to another customer. Disorganized and chaotic. Pizza was burnt and inedible. Never ordering from here again

My very Italian New York family and some friends joined us for a celebration at Chianti Wood Fired Pizza (Bernardsville) this past Saturday evening and they are still raving about the delicious food and quality service. We had originally booked a party of 15 and due to unforeseen circumstances ended up having 22 people show up. Frank was so gracious about it and quickly added tables and chairs. The food kept coming and we ate until we rolled out of there. I wish I could pick a favorite food we had but everything was so delicious that I can't decide. The calamari, brussel sprouts and grandma's pizza immediately come to mind. We plan on returning for future celebration and will hopefully get the number of guests right lol.

This is our go to place for pizza. It’s delicious! The ingredients are fresh, selection is wide and service is outstanding. The wood fired pie excels!!

Went for pizza. The place looks nice from the outside and a step back but the inside is pretty dirty. Hand prints and food splatter on the walls by our table. The place needs a deep clean and there were a lot of flies inside. The pizza was pretty good but nothing i need to run back to. Service was not great. We were the only ones in the place and the waiter was pretty much sitting on his phone the whole time and took a long time to come check in at the end.

Good pizza, appalling service — every phone call feels like an insult.
The wood-fired pizza at Chianti in Bernardsville — especially the truffle, parmesan, arugula — is really tasty. Unfortunately, it comes with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Every single time I call, I’m met with rudeness and a nasty attitude. Most recently, when I pointed out that their answering machine still has an outdated message, the response I got was, “so what? what do you want?” 😳🤯 Instead of a simple, professional “thank you for letting us know.”
It’s shocking how consistently unpleasant the phone experience is, no matter who picks up. 😤 Fed up with the treatment.
The food may be good, but it’s simply not worth dealing with this kind of service.

I would skip… I ordered a pizza and chicken parm sub. The pizza was cold from waiting for the cook to finish making the parm. This was after ordering 30 min before and no one was even there… wasn’t busy. While waiting for the sandwich, I watched the cook unpackaged raw chicken with his bare hands and then proceed to make my sub right after. No washing, no gloves and no cares as to what he’s contaminating. I was so disgusted I threw it away. Pretty much everyone making food does not appear to care. I watched one of the pizza guys transfer pounds of shredded cheese between containers with his bare hands as well and they looked anything but clean(that’s putting it nicely). There is no attention to cleanliness and the staff very unfriendly and borderline rude. If I were a food inspector this place would get an F. No thanks!

Took granddaughters (15 + 19) here for dinner. 19 year old a picky vegetarian and I've not seen her eat that heartily in a while. Very nice atmosphere- serene-and you can dine indoors or out. Also reasonable prices and good portions.service was also good and plenty of parking. My chicken Chianti wrap was a little overcooked but still very good. PIZZA excellent. Try it.
