We had a wonderful dinner and excellent service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated as well. We started with drinks, complimentary bread plate, had the zucchini delicately fried in thin strips- delicious. We both ordered filet of sole in a butter sauce, perfectly seasoned and finished by sharing a crème brullee. We will definitely come back. Delicious !

This was like nothing I’ve ever experienced in all my travels.. The quality of ingredients, the presentation, his team’s love of food and what they’re putting out is something that can’t be taught. Been frequenting this family owned and run restaurant for over 50 years in their former location on Court St downtown Brooklyn. Even now we drive from Brooklyn about 1-1.5 hours because there is none better.

Delicious food! Came with a group of 4 people and we all had a great time. Everything we tried was fantastic. The service was great. Our server was Hannah was very attentive and helpful. The chocolate raviolis were the perfect ending to a great meal! I can’t wait to come back to try more!

Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. If only the food and service was comparable. Plating is beautiful but flavor is below average for the cost - and this was general consensus of our table of 6. We had an appetizer we did not order, was shorted one appetizer and shorted one dessert. On principle the thing that aggravated me the most was some of the abusive pricing. Imagine a $25 appetizer of “corn gnocchi” to be 5 sad frozen tasting tortillini on a plate w a scant of sauce and one 3/4” sawed off slice of corn on the cob. It was so sad it was comical. Both times I was there (gave it two tries), waitstaff seemed downright miserable and bothered. Great place if you like getting dressed up and food and cost isn’t your priority.
