Such a great dinner spot! Came here with a two coworkers and were blown away by the service. Our waiter gave detailed recommendations that turned out to be delicious!! I got the ragú as my main meal and loved it, and the cabbage/shrimp appetizer was what especially surprised us with its flavor. It was a small and quaint spot with only a handful of tables, which created an intimate environment. I came from out of town but if I was local, this would be a go to for me!

Lovely! Thats one word that should summarize the experience. The staff were so lovely, i was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality.. the food - amazing. It is a BYOB. Parking can be found in cinema lot. The atmosphere is cozy! Good for a romantic night. They are very attentive. The bruschetta with homemade bread itself was so good, I knew i am in for treat. Try the creme brulee.Parking: Park in the cinema lot at Mills Road for late evening

Wonderful place. Food, staff, atmosphere all great. Owner is a class act - stops by to say hi, see how the meal is going. Expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. No silly, sneaky credit card fees.

Great food, great service. Respect how the owner always stops by to say hello, and check in on the meal. A bit on the expensive side, so we don't dine there too often. Nice atmosphere. Big bonus points for not adding on a sneaky credit card fee! Hate that.

The food was good. But $35 for a bowl of rice? The setting is nice and intimate the food is incredibly overpriced.

Quietly one of the top 5 restaurants in NJ. The host and owner Alan Russo is always present and welcoming. His staff and attention to detail is without peer and his food is impeccable. This is fine dining online a warm and welcoming atmosphere and you can’t wait to go and hate leaving but know you will be back. Run don’t walk to this fabulous restaurant in Bernardsville. Bring your best bottle of wine and walk out wanting to go back the next day.

One of the best restaurants in NJ. This is the place to go for a wonderful food experience, date night, special occasion. Last night 3 couples went and we all had the 4 course fixed menu. To start we ordered the bruschetta. It’s not your average bruschetta. The bread is crisp, the tomatoes thick, the basil fresh and I’m not sure what the magic ingredients are. It’s a byob so the bruschetta is a wonderful way to start the meal with a glass of wine. My appetizer had wild caught fresh shrimp, the pasta was a tagliatelle a la Ragú made with perfectly cooked hand made pasta. Tender a delicious. Main course I had pork medallions and for dessert the lightest, crispiest, Mille Feuille. Everyone raved about their meals. The service is thoughtful, friendly and professional. The setting is understated elegance. The chef comes by the table which is a nice touch. We are coming back next week with our family.

Everything was exceptional. My wife has dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate with most of the menu items. The owner, Allan, was fantastic. Super friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next dining experience at Sette!

One of the best restaurant meals we've ever had. Food was exceptional. Service was attentive without being disruptive. Appreciated having the quieter tables of 2 separated from the larger tables. Limited selection of entrees, but all were of interest. Vegetarians may need to special request. Servers did offer to accommodate if alternatives were desired. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely evening at Sette last week, but... The maitre-d' of this tiny and special restaurant, Guillermo is poised and professional as are his two female service providers. Always attentive, always asking if they "may remove the plate" etc. On the meal itself. The "special" butternut squash risotto was delicious as all 4 of us agreed. Our issue was with the lamb chops. Although well seasoned and perfectly cooked, they were two tiny lamb shanks with hardly any meat on them! In fact, both of us who had it found it was also grisly and way too tiny a portion at about $45 per! The mille foglie was light, cream,y and delicious and the twice-baked biscotti were very good. But for these prices ($220 per couple) I expect lavish, not skimpy
