The food is always consistent! Best pub around!

Came in with a party of 4, asked if we could sit at an empty table in the bar. The hostess said no which was fine but then added that “she was the owner and it as her prerogative“. We never asked why so not sure she had to be obnoxious about it. The wait staff and bartenders were always great over the last 13 years but I won’t be back.

Owner was VERY rude when I asked why the table in the bar had a reserve sign on it when I called and was told they don’t take reservations. We were 4 she said its a table for 5 and its my prerogative to hold it because I’m the owner…in the most condescending tone! We left of course and will never go back! Nor should you! No parking either!

Excellent choices for food and drinks. Cool to sit inside and outside when the weather is nice. Highly recommend the pizza, burgers, and calamari here

Local pub which has a great service staff and matching great food..Nice menu with plenty of amazing dishes.
You can seat outside..inside or upstairs..
Can't wait to go back..

Had a fun night outside playing trivia.

45 minutes wait for a burger! Not a good start. The burger was pasty not juicy at all. I asked for medium rarer, not pasty. The french fries were taken from the bottom of the fryer: all broken in small pieces and over fried. We won't go back!

We love Steve and his quaint tavern which exudes warmth. The food is high quality with generous portions. Definitely going to be dining here again

Be aware that the food takes a little bit of time to get out of the kitchen because they were very busy but it was 1,000% worth the wait. We got 2 of their side dishes as apps, the flank steak salad, and a buffalo, chicken, bacon, pizza. All were delicious. The salad was one of most unique salad combinations I have ever had. I highly recommend.

We sat outside on the front patio because we had our pup with us but the dining room looked so inviting.

Parking: Park on the street or in the church parking lot and walk to the restaurant.

Service is too slow. Wish this place was better I would be there more often. No great casual places in Bernardsville.
