We showed up with 19 people on a Saturday night and somehow we got in and had the best night!! Food was amazing, service was great! Sue was so sweet and did everything to make it a great night! We promised to call in advance next time but could not have asked for more!!! Pizzas, apps, were all delicious!!
We love coming here on slower days (lunch time before 4). If you come on a weekend at 5 and later, you're waiting over an hour for a table and if you are lucky enough to be seated, it will take you at least 30 minutes to put your order in. They are very understaffed and have been for some time. The food is good, they have the best burgers! Its a cute cozy place, but unless they get more staff then we won't be coming here often.
Sommerset and Morris Counties have a wealth of hidden gems, and this is truly one of them. A few blocks away from Downtown Basking Ridge, in the residsntial area, this place reminds old taverns with the diner in the ground floor and windows upstairs that would have been the quarters.
