Dave & Buster's Gloucester

Our server was excellent, constantly checking on us. The food was alright- I don't expect gourmet from D&B but the chips and salsa were not great and the unlimited fries were clearly leftover, bottom of the pile fries. My biggest issue was the table we sat at. The entire cushion was ripped up and under the table was dirty. I'm not really sure why we were sat there when there were numerous other available tables. I could see if it just happened - a quick fix with some tape to at least make it look decent. The stuffing was visible and it was a rather large rip.

My family (a party of 14) recently visited Dave & Buster’s in Blackwood, NJ, and the experience was unacceptable. Our server was rude and dismissive from the start, with an attitude that felt completely unprovoked. She only took orders from one side of the long table and made the rest of us yell our orders across — until my father asked her to come to our side. She rolled her eyes constantly and acted like we were a burden. It felt like, because gratuity was automatically included for large parties, she didn’t care to provide good service. Many of us have worked in the service industry, so we know what respectful service looks like — and this wasn’t it. I reported the issue to a supervisor, but we won’t be returning. If gratuity hadn’t been included, she wouldn’t have received a tip at all.

Our server was way below average, extremely disappointing with service- I had to go get plates and silverware, drinks horrible/ food cold and just a very unpleasant experience- will not return- very disappointed!

We had a large party and we didn't get seated for Sheol because they did t have a server available... it was my daughters birthday and i went early on purpose to make sure we would have a good seating area ... after a few times asked we finally got a server and she was great ! The food was okay, drinks were good ! and i basically bussed the table myself because the basic staff was half asleep ... I wouldn't do a large group there again !

It took 15 min for a waitress to come to get drink orders . Then 10 min later only part of our drinks . Then order was not right food was delivered to wrong table then brought over to us and there food was at our table now taken to them. Food was like warm. Not good

Had a great time celebrating my son's birthday. The service was very nice and the food and games were great.

I put a reservation in almost a week prior to coming because I knew I was gonna have a big crew. We wanted to have a great night out with friends. It was anything but... We had to wait 20+ minutes past my reservation time to be seated. And then they only gave us one waitress for the table. Had we had more waitresses or waiters for the table, perhaps many of these grievances would not have happened. It just led to disaster. Some people never got their meals or drinks until we complained. The amount of time that we had to wait for the food was unacceptable even though we recognized, we had a large crew. We were there waiting on our check for an exuberant amount of time. From the time to sit down order get our food and pay our bill we were there almost 4 hours. That was not including gaming time. In fact, several people from our group had decided to just leave instead of playing any of the games because they were so upset. So my kids didn't even get to hang out with their friends playing games, like we had planned . The food that some of us received was not worth the money. The cauliflower dish I ordered was soggy and cold, truffle fries cold and too overloaded. And that was just my order. When we would order drinks, it took forever for the drinks to come out. Many of us ended up sharing drinks because we were just so thirsty because our drinks took half an hour at least to refill. The price of the food was ridiculous considering the quality. And I understand we had a big group, but it was an insane amount of time before a food came out too. And when it did many orders were wrong. And instead of having or other games, it was just arcade games. And the price of those was exuberant, considering there are so many better arcades around. For the price of everything it was not worth it. No one from our group will not be returning. We were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the experience we had.

Had to constantly look for a server since the one we had never came back to table Had to ask three different workers where was the Mac and cheese for two kids that took them 30 minutes to serve after everyone else got their food! Had to go to service desk to get get the server who had my payment and never came back with receipt as requested. What a mess up No one ever cleared table

Everything was clean. The food quality was ok. Tasted a bit bland but the atmosphere was great

In comparison to the Philly Dave & Buster's, this was a LOUD experience for dining. It is wide open between dining and the arcade with a very modern design. The dining space is surrounded by TVs, much more so than Philly. The food and service were good, the staff in the arcade were great.

My granddaughter enjoyed it very much, but it was difficult to have a conversation at dinner. If you don't mind the noise, it's probably a good experience at a convenient South Jersey location. But I think I will head to Philly next time.

Took my niece for her first time and she had an absolute blast. The food was great and they made accommodations for her (picky eater) without question. Not many negatives to consider: the price of each game is a bit steep and some are more expensive than others. 2 player games require 2x the swipes.

Closed on a weekend for a private party with no notice whatsoever except a handwritten sign on the door…

1st experience coming to Dave’s & busters at the Blackwood location drinks tasted like juice instead of a mixed drink 2nd experience my family and I had to wait 2 hours just to be seated to eat with a RESERVATION!! and the 3rd time coming to the same location i decided to go on my 27th birthday with my husband to at least try to get some appetizers and drinks to celebrate and decided to sit at the bar the bartender asked us for ID I gladly showed bartender mines and husband left his at home by mistake and told bartender he only has a picture as we know they couldn’t accept pictures she told us she could grab a manger for us to see if he could bypass it WE DECLINED THE OFFER of wanting to speak to a manger the bartender kept assisting saying “it’s worth a try” held MY drink back for almost 15 mins due to grabbing a manger after we told her we didn’t want one.. when the manger taliez not sure I’m spelling name correctly came to us first thing he said was that he couldn’t accept the picture which we already knew and husband wanted me to drink and eat since I was the one who already showed them my physical ID to have a good time Since it’s my birthday as he just orders foods and was told by the manager that we BOTH have to get up and leave the bar to sit at table bc my 29 year old husband didn’t have a physical ID saying it’s “against the law to sit at the bar without having ID present” I WAS WILLING STAY until he made us MOVE SEATS when I left I looked up if his statement was true on google and it WAS NOT!!! It states that you don’t need an ID to sit at the bar especially if a person is only ordering food.

So not just declining to speak to a manger, we was forced to speak to him, falsely lied to make us move seats and it’s OUR 3rd time coming to this lotion with an issue of terrible service !! .. 3 STRIKES and you’re OUT !!! This is the by far the worst !! Dave and buster to ever exist let alone visit !! And really wish I could take this matter to higher up cooperate !!! Don’t waste yall money here !! Go to PA !!!

Went on a date there, strongly recommend reserving a table well in advance if you plan to eat there. Was told 2 to 3 hours wait time, ended up going to a local bar for food and returned after to continue gaming
