Holy Tomato Reviews
This place is outstanding! The food, staff, music and decor are fabulous. My new favorite.
We stopped into Holy Tomato for our first time last night. It's an unassuming converted street-front house on the outside, but an eclectic cozy atmosphere inside. Once we sat down our server made us feel like we were one of the regulars. She made sure we knew everything we needed to make the visit all it could be. The menu is a bit sparse, but what's there (mainly pizza) sounded delicious.

The Holy Tomato offers a delightful dining experience with its freshly made and delicious food. The restaurant, housed in an unassuming converted street-front house, has an eclectic cozy atmosphere inside with different themes in the rooms. It is best known for its outstanding tomato pies, including a half-vegetarian, half-sausage option, and the popular Buffalo Chicken Pie. The menu is mainly pizza, but what is offered is fantastic, and the house salad is a standout, serving two to three people and considered one of the best around. The crust of the pizza is thin, and the flavors of the sauce are amazing, with homemade ranch and Bleu cheese complementing the dishes perfectly.
While the service may sometimes be slow, the exceptional quality of the food makes it worth the wait. The owner is hands-on and ensures everything is to the customers' liking. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient, making visitors feel like regulars. The desserts are made in-house and are just as incredible as the main dishes. The interior is decorated uniquely and filled with art that is always changing, creating a warm and inviting vibe.
Parking can be tricky, with street parking not allowed in front, so visitors are advised to park in the library lot a few doors down. The restaurant accepts cash or Venmo only. Holy Tomato is a hidden gem that never disappoints and has gained loyal customers who plan to return often. It’s a place that creates memorable nights, whether for a special date, quick dinner, or a large gathering.
