River of Beer does a great job supporting the NJ Craft Beer Brewers. I just wish those same brewers would take their companies offerings more serious and treat it like the incredibly difficult market they are in rather than treat it like a hobby. We have over 200 breweries and just a handful of ones that can compete in flavor with some of the better North East brewers. We need better tasting beer in our backyard.

Drinks are excellent, bartenders are usually great also—really talented at making cocktails. Good local beer choices. As a vegetarian I can’t speak to much of the food—fries are great, but the veg burger is very dense and not my favorite. I love coming here for a few drinks and apps. Dog friendly too!

A decent local place with nice river side seating during warmer weather months. Selection is good, staff is friendly, and the place gets packed on weekend nights. A particularly nice option for locals in this slightly more rural area of NJ.

The drinks & food were delicious...not your typical bar food frozen fried food but fresh & SO tasty. Honestly a true gem without the jacked up prices.Oh yeah they have brunch on Sundays :)
