Our families favorite go-to place for a casual meal, drinks, game viewing, and juke box. Menu is classic pub fair that never fails. Beer is cold on tap, bourbon well poured, ask Tim to mix you a lemon drop...pass on the espresso martini. For a treat, think out of the box and consider the specials menu. It is just that: special. Each selection is out of the pub norm, well executed, and served hot by a staff that is friendly, attentive, and easy on the eyes. The atmosphere is neighborhood casual with non-obnoxious regulars sitting at the bar or high tops directly behind. Additional tables are available in the outer room for larger groups or parties. Oh yeah, outdoor seating as well. Parking is available but sometimes taken during peak times. It's worth leaving the vehicle on a safe neighborhood street and walking.

I have been coming here for a very long time, and I love it, however, I am so disappointed in the careless and sloppy service tonight, I ordered buffalo wings, a staple at 101, besides the fact that my server forgot to order them, he proceeded to bring me teriyaki or some other sweet and crispy wings, I let him know that we received the wrong wings and he took them back, only to bring me the same wings drenched with buffalo sauce, but the sweet taste was still there. What was a simple mistake turned out to be a very poor and careless decision by our server. The old seasoned staff would never have allowed this product to be reserved to our table. Very disappointed, but hope that this was a one off with this new server!

I visited while in town for work twice in the same week. As an Indiana resident, I was shocked when my ID was accused of being fake during my second visit. I’m not sure if this reflects an unfriendly attitude toward non-locals or something else entirely. My first visit earlier in the week was fantastic—Timmy is an excellent bartender and a genuinely great person. AJ was also very nice and friendly. Timmy even covered a beer for me, and I tipped over 40% in appreciation.
However, my second visit was an entirely different experience. A different bartender refused to serve me, despite me presenting my valid Indiana ID. I am 23 years old and certainly appear my age, so this treatment was both insulting and upsetting. The new bartender said he was the manager. His attitude is concerning; dismissing someone’s identification because they are from out of town is unacceptable. This guys is obviously not a professional if he cannot tell if an out of state ID is real or not. Not only that but the manager also was extremely rude and cursed at me several times. While Timmy’s hospitality stood out, this inconsistency in service leaves much to be desired.
I will be frequently coming to this part of New Jersey for awhile moving forward as my company just opened a location here. I was hoping to make this establishment a consistent stop. Overall I was just very frustrated and felt helpless. The pizza spot right next to it was open so I grabbed a pizza and watched the football game from my hotel room.
Great local place with lots of amazing dishes and great draft beer. My wife had grilled salmon in steamed broccoli so more than just bar food.. great folks if you're in the area you should visit a real local bar

This place is outstanding. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Food is crazy good. For a game night the energy is palpable. As a Southerner that works for a NJ company, the 101 Pub represents everything great about the area - the local feel, the strong drinks, the vocal opinions about the sports teams. Not to be missed.
