Marcello's Coal Fired Restaurant & Pizza

Sat on the patio side with the roof open. The amount of gnats and tiny flies were unbearable. When we broke pieces of bread you could see flies coming off of the bread. Got the sriracha wings which had very little flavor. Main courses and service was good.

This place was absolutely lovely! I'm sensitive to loud noise and where we were seated inside was a bit too loud for me, the staff were incredibly understanding and kind; they were able to give me somewhere to sit outside where it was much quieter.

First time to Marcello's and it did not disappoint! The ambiance, the food and service were spot on. Can't wait to go back.

It was a nice weekday dinner. Service was not as expected. We did not learn about specials and had to flag someone down to find our server. Food was good.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant and will keep coming back, the food and service are excellent!

Highly recommend considering their specials - on our most recent visit we tried the chicken breast special (served in two ways - grilled and panko encrusted over pasta) which was outstanding. Also great was the lobster ravioli and chicken Marsala. Our server Nick was great - helpful, friendly and we even noticed him checking with the staff to make sure our to-go meal was complete. Just awesome.

Come here often, it's busy but our food never took over 40mins to come out and we did not have anyone come To use let us know what was going on or to check on us.

Food and drinks were delicious and Nancy took great care that we didn't lack anything. A great night out with friends.

Our party of four had dinner at Marcello's Friday evening 7/18/25. We were seated in the outdoor area near the bar, and the very loud, thumping, hip-hop music was quite disturbing. There was never a break in the music. I ordered a spaghetti and meatballs dinner, and the serving was two small meatballs on spaghetti with sauce. Seriously? Two small meatballs? It was a very tiny portion. My daughter ordered the large Ceasar salad, and it looked like the amount of a small dinner salad spread out on a larger plate. Image a single layer of chopped romaine lettuce on a large plate. She said it was the smallest $14 salad she had ever seen. My son-in-law enjoyed his pizza, but my lady friend's chicken was a bit tough. The table service was very poor. We wanted to order drinks, but the server never once came back to check on us. Then I found out why. The restaurant automatically added a 22% tip to the bill, so obviously the server had no incentive to give good service. It's a shame because we are locals and live just 10 minutes from the restaurant. We won't be going back.

Our whole dining experience was fabulous! Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating! Great birthday celebration for my sister!

Great drinks and food. Sat outside , server (forgot name ) dark hair glasses was great. It felt like he was an owner , all over everything and welcoming. 👍😃

I've been here a few times now and this is a fantastic spot. The drinks are always perfectly made, the food is wonderful, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. It's a great place.

Not a great dining experience. The music seemed odd for an Italian restaurant - Disco. Also it went from very loud to nonexistent several times for no apparent reason Service was uneven and the pacing of the meal was off. The food was okay, although we were not happy with the watermelon salad. They grilled the watermelon and served it warm, taking away the refreshing nature of a summer salad. If we were told it was served warm, we would not have ordered it. On the plus side, the drinks were excellent.

Other than having to wait 30 minutes for the outdoor reservation we had made, we have no complaints. Great service, exceptional food. We will be back!

The previous manager kept the atmosphere more hip, music was current, different vibe. Please change the playlist back. CHANGE the menu. Add more seafood options and choice steak, rib eye, choice ground butcher blend burgers. Also calamari is consistently overcooked and not fresh but frozen. I love the atmosphere but the grace of food and menu and music should be changed
