We were a party of three, with two having significant food allergies. The staff was highly tuned to our dietary needs. Portion sizes were amazing, much more than we anticipated. The food was excellent and the staff attentive, and very helpful in making GF recommendations. Awesome Tomato pie. Crispy crust, light and sweet tomato sauce to die for. We got the 2 pie special for $23.95 on a Monday. First pie was half roasted peppers. Second pie was half roasted peppers and half sun-dried tomatoes. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. The interior is cozy, warm and very very Italian. Staff are very friendly. the owners are from Palermo Sicily, where my grandmother was born. Our waitress Ingrid was super friendly and very, very nice. Came here for late lunch/early dinner with my fiancé for our two year engagement anniversary.

For a long time I lived in Bordentown. Also ate at Palermo's . The tomato pie is one of the best in the area. The sauce is a little sweet, but I like it that way. The service is always good. My favorite place for tomato pie when I am in Bordentown.

Although the food is good I would not recommend this place for families. One server was particularly rude and visibly annoyed we had kids. The toddlers were not perfect but for the most part were well behaved. Unfortunately, we will not be returning due to this, which is disappointing because if we were treated differently we would gladly return.Kid-friendliness: Although the food is good I would not recommend this place for families. Pizza and muscles delicious, excellent service. Not sure why someone would give 2 stars, we were here at roughly the same time and everyone’s plate was clean at the end ! Great food, well worth the drive and $.
