My wife had the Root Beer Pork dish and loved it. I enjoyed my Capio e pepe dish. Service was outstanding. The lighting made it difficult to see the dishes we were eating. Unfortunately, my meal while good did not agree with me after we returned home.
I go to this restaurant on a regular basis and have written many positive reviews. Unfortunately, I was very underwhelmed during my latest dinner. For whatever reason they stopped serving the fabulous tuna wontons, which was an excellent presentation with amazing flavors. They replaced it with a tuna and avocado mash with bruschetta, which was plain and ordinary. The squash blossoms special were good. The meatballs were nothing special, despite the dollop of whipped ricotta. We decided not to have large plates so I cannot comment on those. Just disappointed that what we decided to have this visit, mostly small plates, missed the mark. In the past, we easily made a fabulous meal on small plates and specials.
Food and service were five stars as usual, have dined at Toscano many times over the years. However, I made a Sunday lunch reservation (8/3) expecting a lunch menu per their website. Only offered a dinner menu and no drink lists. Another negative during this visit was the amount of flies in the dining area. Several circled and landed on our food during our meal and many more could be seen on the ceiling. Never experienced this before here so hoping it was a blimp. Will visit again and am hopeful for a better dining atmosphere.
Great menu with too many specials to list. I wish they would tell you the price of the specials as they recite them. After you order the special and get the bill it's pretty much a shock.
My husband and I always come here for the tuna entrée and his bone in filet special. The bone in fillet special was amazing as always, five star. I was hesitant to try a new meal as tuna was not one of the specials this evening however, I ended up getting the crab encrusted grouper and it was absolutely delicious. The brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had. our waitress was also terrific. Another amazing dinner.
Another Amazing Dinner at Toscano. Debbie was our outstanding server. Right on point. The way she describes the special you can almost taste them. Never missed an empty glass or plate. They even served the appetizers for us when they arrived and when my wife and I split an entree Debbie split it and served us each at the table. Stuffed zucchini flour octopus and tuna tartar were our apps. This is a must visit for South Jersey. Simply the best.
Food is the best and service from Debbie outstanding as usual. Always a good experience.
Steak Quality matters & this place understands and delivers. Amazing food while still creating a great environment to discuss business or celebrate a birthday.
The best restaurant in the area and it is not close. Have eaten here several times and eaten a wide variety of menu items. Great service, awesome specials. Everything from appetizers, to soups, to pasta, is tremendous. The steak is always great too! Even desserts are fantastic.
If you want an upscale Restaurant. Like going to NY. With amazing food and friendly knowledgeable and professional staff. Perfect for a romantic evening. Or to get together with friends

There was too much noise in elevated section near kitchen entrance and too little space between tables with loud conversations from neighboring table. Too little crab in spaghetti dish. The mashed potatoes were creamy excellent. The barotta salad with stone fruit was well done
The food here is phenomenal. But more importantly the service was top notch. I plan on going back and enjoying a meal there again.
You just have to go to go to Toscano! The food is outstanding as is the service and ambiance ! Just go
The evening started out well but went down hill quickly. Service was poor and our steaks were overdone. Overall a nice place but I guess they were just off their game that night.
At the request of my daughter (a frequent patron) I chose Toscano over another restaurant in the area to celebrate 2 family birthdays. An intimate dining room with a warm and spirited atmosphere, waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. We began with several starters and followed with their steak and pork chop specialties, all prepared superbly. The entire experience was quite enjoyable and I look forward to returning.
