Quite an eclectic brunch place with antique pieces on the wall as well as the dishes and the silverware.

Loved the poached eggs, fish tacos, brussel sprouts, truffle fries, avocado toast, flatbread and cappuccino.

Free Street parking. Plenty of brunch options.

Went for first time for lunch. Food was ok…not the worst but nothing special . Had a burger… none of the food was hot.. and got charged 75 cents for mayo on the side .. really ? Probably won’t go back , other places on the street that are better .

The place is very cute and cozy, service is great. The price to portion ratio is poor and the food was not good enough to make up for that. Not to say the food wasn’t good, it was tasty and I love the tapas tower idea.

We decided to try Under the Moon again after several years of trying other restaurants in Bordentown. The atmosphere is amazing and our server was friendly and attentive.
There were a few disappointing factors that put a damper on our experience. I was surprised that there were no specials offered when our waiter came to take our order. Restaurants usually offer a few.
Our same waiter when waiting on the tables to the left and right of us, offered them the nightly specials?
We both ordered the burger special with short ribs and onion rings, and it was really a great burger. The problem was the truffle fries were barely warm very disappointing!
Also when we arrived, they said they couldn’t find our reservation although it was confirmed online. They did seat us. But it was just a little worrisome when we arrived wondering if we were going to get a table?
All in all the burger was worth it, it is a BYOB and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will give it another try.!

I typically don’t leave bad reviews but I’m pretty disappointed with this. We decided to splurge on take out tonight, it was one of those weeks and the weekend isn’t looking any better. After filling the cart and seeing it would cost $100 for short rib($35ish), tacos($35ish), and wings I was ready to bail on the idea but with a screaming two year old we decided to go with it. The wings and tacos were good but definitely not worth the price. The short ribs were awful, it was half fat and VERY tough. While my husband was picking it up he added a crumb cake which cost an additional $12. We enjoy good food and don't mind spending on it but this was not worth half of what we spent. Not to mention there’s a fee to use the online ordering service, however when I called to place the order by phone no one answered which left me no choice but to order online.

Ventured here for lunch on Monday and didn’t regret it. This place is an absolute gem and a must-stop if you’re in the area. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food easily lives up to the hype. Our server Lenny was top notch!

The Cuban sandwich was outstanding—perfectly pressed with crisp bread, layers of tender roasted pork, ham, melted cheese, pickles, and just the right amount of mustard. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being greasy, which is hard to pull off with a Cuban.

The crispy chicken sandwich was just as impressive. The chicken was juicy on the inside with a perfectly crunchy coating, topped with fresh ingredients that didn’t overpower the star of the show. You can tell the quality and care that goes into their food.

Great food, great vibe, and consistently delicious. Under the Moon Café is one of Bordentown City’s best spots, and I’ll definitely be back

Went here for an Anniversary dinner. We made a reservation but still were kinda sat in a smaller corner of the restaurant. The food was way too expensive for the portions you where given. I ordered the salmon and it was a bit too dry. The German butter cake for dessert was delicious but I cant say it was worth $16. They said the menu for desert rotate daily so I understand why they didn't give us a menu for it but knowing the price would have been nice. The décor was pretty though. The ceiling had fun patterns and shapes on it

Highly recommend a change in the menu referencing gluten free options. While the menu says there are gf options there a far less available than indicated. Serving whipped ricotta with nothing makes no sense, serving a dish without a main component like huevos rancheros without potatoes is not the same as saying it can be made gf which their menu indicates. We spoke with the waiter and the manager and decided to leave. They cannot accommodate if you are gf please be aware.

My first experience 3 weeks before at Under the Moon was wonderful. I went for dinner, the food, halloween decor and our server were excellent. So much so that when the opportunity to dine there again for brunch came up I happily made a brunch reservation for my daughter and I. (An hour drive from where we were coming from) It was a cold, miserable and rainy day. Our reservation was for 10 am. I didn’t know this was the first service of the day. We walked in 6 minutes before 10. (Again it was rainy and cold). The employees at the counter stared at us like deer in headlights. I said good morning, and gave my information for the reservation. After being stared at again uncomfortably, we were told “We can seat you, but you’re six minutes early. We can’t fire anything yet. “ I said that’s fine, it would take us a minute to look over the menu anyway. In a completely empty restaurant, we were brought to a table that would have seated us in a small area between two other others. When I requested to be moved to a two top that had back support for one of the chairs I was met with rolled eyes.

Why was it necessary to start the experience off this way? Six minutes isn’t something to condemn a customer for. Another table came in 2 minutes after us, were they told they were 4 minutes early? As stated above, I didn’t realize the 10:00 reservation was the first one of the day. I was treated as if I walked in 30 minutes early and demanded service. None of those things happened.

The service was lackluster, the food barely room temp, and the experience left a sour taste in my mouth.
