I fasted majority of the day and decided to pick something up for me and my kids since we’d be out the rest of the day and instantly had to go home because I didn’t feel well. The lady at the register was rude. Asked to put some cheese in my chilli because i want cheese in she said something in Spanish i asked to speak to the manager and ask him to have some cheese in my chilli he went in the back and told the worker in Spanish to put little bit of cheese in it. I guss these people dont know they teach Spanish in high-school.

Tried to sell me a sandwich when I told them had a coupon for buy one get one free, also messed up my order telling me I didn't order what I claim and got a bit frustrated with me at the window during breakfast

Around 7:28PM 7/15/25. Just went through the drive thru and the man who took my order could not have been any more rude. Extremely short at the speaker. I then pull up and as I pay I state that I need a receipt. Slams window in face mid sentence. Hands me food and card, no receipt. I restate that I need the receipt. He looks absolutely disgusted that he has to speak to me. Slams window. Messes with receipt printer. Opens window and says machine isn’t working. I say I really do need a receipt as I am reimbursed for travel exp… slam. There goes the window again. His body language is awful. Clearly doesn’t want to be there. Had me pull up and wait. Fine. Brings receipt out and, with a disgusted to be doing this look on his face, hands it to me. I say to him, “You look like you don’t want to be here. He stops and looks at me and nods as he says no I don’t.
I’m sorry I ruined your day for needing a receipt.
Get this guy away from any sort of customer service. He needs to go on the grill or out the door. I can’t be the only one going through your drive thru tonight that experienced his poor attitude.
Ps. I tried to call the manager, because it was THAT bad. (I have never called a fast food restaurant in my entire life to complain. Was hung up on three times before even a hello. So, therefore, I leave this review instead of what could have been a private conversation on how my experience was.

Ordered a egg and cheese on croissant combo. They gave me premade sandwich not a croissant no cheese with Mayo. Coffee tasted burnt. I had a better experience at another store I thought that was the standard but was wrong.

This is a premium wendys or whatever you want to call it as they often dont have the same specials that the national chain advertises. Likely because its at a truck stop near the NJ turnpike.
Overall the food here is good quality (for a wendys) and usually cooked the way the company would want them to cook it. Only real complaint is the staff often makes you pull up when in the drive thru even if no one is behind you so their "statistics" on the window look good. This is annoying as heck and managements fault. Otherwise this place is well run.
