This was overall not a pleasant experience. The waitress didn't bring out a bread basket and had to be asked multiple times for water and drinks. Our table wasn't kept clean while we sat and ate.My salad has brown parts of the lettuce core in it, and the chicken in the Alfredo was dry, since it was sitting back in the kitchen for so long.She took about an hour to bring the food out, and we asked 3x for a piece of bread which she finally brought out after the lunch dishes.For 2 meals it came out to $50 and the food wasn't even good. I think this is my last time eating there.

I grew up on Jersey diners. This was incredibly sub-par. We were placed in a booth with a pole in front of it so you have to squeeze around the pole in order to sit down. There were many empty booths so using this one was an intentional choice. Service was incredibly slow despite it not being too busy and plenty of servers simply standing around. We saw other tables being seated after us and served first. I ordered a BLT which usually are served on white toast with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and bacon. What I was brought was plain untoasted white bread with a piece of bacon and lettuce. My daughter ordered a chicken dish which was supposed to be a plain sauteed chicken breast rice. She had to ask for her cup of soup which was a very nice lentil and the only thing which met expectations. Her entree was a piece of breaded chicken floating in a greasy pool of thick sauce. No rice. When it came time to pay the bill, it took almost 30 minutes to get it. This is a not recommended diner.

Normally, we go for breakfast. Service and food are good. Today we literally just walked out at 2pm after no wait staff came to our table to even greet us, they only walked by our table 3 times. Now we are at Town and Country Diner and have been greeted, gotten water and ordered in less time than we waited at Widsom.

Met friends at this diner as it was between us geographically. This was our first visit and we all agreed it will not be our last. We had the early bird special and were surprised and well satisfied by both the quantity and quality. Wait staff very friendly.
