The only issue I’ve ever experienced was service associated with takeout orders. They’ve switched to a 3rd Party taking orders and issuing pickup numbers. Issue resolved. The food is always good, and prices are in line with other restaurants.

Over the years, we’ve tried a number of Chinese restaurants in the Bridgewater area, and some have been very good…at times.Happy Garden Zhu is the only one that’s consistently excellent. It’s a no-nonsense, no-frills comfort food that hits the mark every single time. Oh, and they hook us up with the face-melting spiciness that we crave. Highly recommend.

02/09/23 - placed order online but upon arrival i find out they forget to make it for the scheduled pick up time. They had the ticket for the order but somehow forgot to make the meal. Didn’t offer any apologies or anything

I ordered general tso chicken combo , hot and sour soup and fried dumplings. Everything was good except hot and sour soup. No sour. Just hot. Disappointing.

I ordered a lunch special- the shrimp in lobster sauce with fried white rice. To be honest it is a dish I haven’t tried before … I wish I had better things to say but the picture speaks for itself in my opinion. Maybe it’s just me but the presentation turned me off automatically. Still tasted it even with it looking like that, it tasted just as bad as it looked. Willing to give another try with another order but not anytime soon. The woman was super nice when I ordered though, so I’m giving a second star.

Ordered chicken with garlic sauce and Gen Tso chicken. Paid $33. Looked at my receipt and they charged $13 per dish PLUS $3 for fried rice for each dish which I never ordered.Make sure you know what your paying for before you pay. Never going here again.On top of that food was spicy even though I said mild.

Do not use the "qMenu" website connected to their menu page. It is not working. You will be billed for your orders but Happy Garden Zhu will not receive the order. Buyer Beware.
