Had a great lunch with the family. The food was delicious, the service was great and friendly, and the price point was better than expected. Will definitely come back

Food is decent , but not everyone enjoyed their meals. Pasta dish was eh . Fiancé said it did not taste fresh at all more like from a box and can. Salads were very fresh. Grilled chicken and half roast chicken were very good. Decor could use some updating.

Went for the Sunday brunch and found it to be very good. Only things that were not to our taste was the French toast had an orange glaze on it which no one at our table liked. Also the florentine quiche was not a favorite. The omelette and waffle stations were excellent. The eggs Benedict, spanakopita were well liked by the whole party and the coconut bread pudding and tiramisu dessert were our favorite desserts.

There was a very loud retirement party in the main dining room. Two people in our party are hard of hearing so we could not have any conversation. I think they should have told us when we made the reservation. They do have a large banquet room in the back and I think that should have been used.

Breakfast items were fantastic! Especially the made-to-order waffles. Lunch items were less desirable. The meat was tough and maybe overcooked. We went to Stony Brook to try their Sunday buffet and were very disappointed. Their Holiday buffets are outstanding.

Love it here! First time. In this restaurant. We sat outside and the service was amazing. The food was great too. I'll be back!

We usually have a great experience at brunch however, this memorial day this selection wasn't very good 

This was our first time here at SBG. I really thought it was be great based on reviews. Our waiter "T" took our drink order and then our food order. Drinks were mixed up. Gave us the 2 stalest rolls ever. Never informed us of the specials (overheard then after the fact at next table). When I inquired what type of beef were the medallions of beef menu item (thinking filet or sirloin) I was told "oh you know it's beef , cow! 🤦🏼‍♀️ The entrees were brought out and reversed. I at a few veggies & then realized it was a pork chop not short rib. He apologized and took it away and brought out the correct meal. While I was still eating he asks if we need any boxes for leftovers. No. I'm still not finished. As I continue to eat, my husband has already finished his meal, the waiter asks if we would like coffee or dessert. As I continue to finish my meal, he brings out the check and says "no rush". Wth. We'll give SBG another try at some point. Hopefully this dining disappointment was based on the waiter's lack of experience.

We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. The biggest drawback was the very high noise level. It doesn't seem like they included any noise reduction features into the building. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. Otherwise, we enjoyed the ambiance, food and menu options. Our server tried to be attentive, and checked in several times; however, he didn't refill my water glass or offer to package up the remaining half of my entree. I had to request both. The musician in the bar area was a nice touch, but the background noise of chatter was so loud that the music just added to an already uncomfortable noise level.

Great food and great experience. We have often used this venue for entertaining and dining. Best place in the area.

Had a weekday dinner and drinks. Place was lively and about 70% filled. Great selections on menu. Server was very attentive and didn't rush us. Flatbread was delicious!

Food was excellent, probably the best French dip I have ever eaten. Wife's burger was delicious and onion soups were on point. Our server in the bar area was excellent, didn't disappear or was overly intrusive. Manager also stopped by to check on meal, which was a nice touch. Guitar player added to the atmosphere. Overall experience was very good, and I would highly recommend.

Nice place, very good service and a menu with lots of options. My husband had the fried chicken and said it was really good. Crab and corn soup and tuna poke bowl were very good too. Reasonable prices and overall a place we would return to.

We had the shrimp appetizer and the balsamic chicken salad and the house white whine. All was excellent.

waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order even to ask us for drinks , had to make eye contact in order to receive their attention . Was not happy .
