What can I say? It is convinient pizza place with reasonable prices. Many rural pizza places have no specific decor and it is very simple inside. This pizza place just like that, nothing unique, plain. Also, many rural pizza places have simple selection- mostly greasy, cheesy, meaty pies. Nothing fancy. But I wish for something unique! Margarita, vegetables, salad pizza! I want pizza and I want it somewhat healthy and delish at the same time. I love salad pizza from Pizza 1 in Sparta. Its not only people from NY who want uniqueness. That is the only thing I am going to say. I saw some broccoli and mushrooms and I was happy with this place. Thank you. By the way, we stayed in Cobmin Ridge Motel nearby. Beautiful rooms. Very cozy. Great area for hiking. But its lucking cool places to eat and drink coffee.

I liked the food in the institution, next time I will definitely order their specialty.

I had to post my positive experience here after reading a few negative reviews. We ordered a cheese calzone for dinner tonight. It was definitely a family size and it was DELICIOUS. We have ordered from the new owners a few times now and we have no complaints. I thought the owner was very nice. I hope people give them a try.

Never again! Second time ordering from here. First time was amazing this time, horrible. Ordered our food for pick up, got home and realized our food was wrong ( I know should have checked there but we only live down the road). We called to let them know, and were willing to bring back. The owner very rudely said we got what we paid for and proceeded to call my brother in law an “f-ing idiot”. This place is a real class act!

Last time I'll Order Here! New owner has really let this place go downhill. An hour and a half for our order tonight and once again, the food was mediocre. The Italian sub... I can get better at Quick Chek and Jersey Mike's. The "sub" roll seemed processed, not fresh. The meat was cut so thick and was watery. Barely any lettuce and hardly any oil and vinegar. Lasagna was OK. Meatball sub...meatballs seemed processed too. Chicken salad was OK, but not for the price. Garlic knots... half raw and I couldn't taste any garlic. SO disappointing, especially after waiting for so long. We've had pizza here before as well. You can find much better elsewhere in Sussex county. My recommendation: Keep looking.

I almost never leave a review but after reading some of these I feel I must comment. Was happy to see pizza in this spot again and thought we'd try it. The pizza was the best we have had locally in years. Fresh veggies, including mushrooms, perfect crust - not too thick or thin, tasty sauce and perfect cheese. The owner was friendly and as of this writing the New staff also friendly as I walked in. The pizza is large and filling and CONSISTENT each time we order. Subs have enough meat and cheese that you don't feel like you are eating a bread sandwich, and the oil & vinegar is unique and awesome! We are working our way through the menu and everything has been delicious and portions hearty. I am saddened by some previous reviews saying unkind things about the owner as we have found him very friendly from the opening. He always greets us and even when busy he will stick his head by window to say a quick hello. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I hope if you are reading this you will try Nonno's and decide for yourself! Overall Great food, reasonable prices and Large portions - we always have leftovers even when it's just a plain pie which is not common. ?

Stopped in to order a White Pie with Broccoli. Counter service was lacking. Chef yelling from the kitchen to the front of the house. Two younger girls working there were just sitting on their phones. No pleasantries, kinda rude actually. When we got home to eat the (over $20) pizza, we couldn't get through more than two bites. It was loaded, and I mean LOADED, with cheese. I'm actually not sure there was any crust under it! I may have been willing to give it a second chance, but the service sealed the deal. Do not recommend.

I recently ate here and I have to say it was the best pizza I have had in such a long time. The last time I had pizza like this was in New York City. the owner Charlie is a gentleman. I’ve seen these nasty reviews, if you show him the proper respect then he is polite and respectful, I would happily eat here again! 5/5 stars! So much better than AGs in branchville, the pizza is burnt and the people are nasty… definitely would recommend this place

Pizza tastes good BUTT, a large pie is quite small. Every other pizza place sells 18” pies. I think these are 16”. Which doesn’t sound like a big difference, but is surprisingly small.“That’s just not a full size pizza”, is what you’ll think when you open the oddly small box. “Certainly not a large”.Based on location, I would make this my regular pizza place if the pies weren’t so small. The other, even closer, option is A G in branchville which is flavorless. Guess we‘ll keep having to do pick up from newton… that is unless these guys start making normal size pies… hint hint. Eh? Nudge nudge… bigger pie… normal size. You get what I’m saying, right?

Been here a few times... Every time I was more disappointed.. the owner treats the staff horrible.. last two times I was there the owner was screaming at staff and customers.. the hygiene of the owner is a good example of the overall cleanliness of restaurant.. staff were complaining about pies being left out for days and bugs in the kitchen and over all poor working conditions.. I searched previous restaurants he has owned and they both had multiple health code violations and all reviews were horrible... Stay away!!!

The pizza was great at first , then the 3rd time I got delivery and they messed up my pizza order real bad. The pizza was also over cooked. What a shame ?

If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would do so! I have never once left a negative review for anyone, but tonight, I absolutely have to, because this was a horrible experience from beginning to end. The owner was rude, nasty, and has no customer service tact or skill. He was unwilling to fix the mistakes his waitress made or in any way accommodate his customer in any way to remedy it. I would never again spend a cent in this place or recommend this business to anyone. The food was passable at best, and the service treatment to the customer was absolutely disgraceful. The owner was loud, rude, nasty, and unkind, especially to individuals with special needs. Shame on you!! That is not way to do business in this community!!!

First time trying them today. Ordered online for delivery. Food arrived warm and within the window provided when ordered. Pizza was good. Nice to have a other option in the area with good Pizza and delivery.

Ordered 2 pies one plain, one sausage and pepperoni for delivery. Was told about an hour. An hour and a half later still no pies. So we went to pick them up. When we got home the sausage and pepperoni was sausage and peppers no big deal everyone makes mistakes. Giving it 2 stars because when we called to let them know we were told thank you have a nice day. New owners Not sure if we will go back.

Visiting the area and wanted quick meal before the buttermilk falls hike. It turned out to be the best pizza I have had in the last 5 years! Delicious and generous!!
