Where to start!! We made a reservation for 5:30 for 8 outside. The service was behind awful. She came over with drinks and then 20 mins later order apps. The apps came out and still did not order our actual dinner. I had to order another app since they came out fast and my 3 year old was hungry. Once dinner came out they messed up two orders which one of the orders never came out at all. I had to go inside to speak to the hostess regarding the missing food no one came out to let us know. We ordered roasted cauliflower and we got fried cauliflower. I was told by the server that roasted and fried are the same thing. Once we returned the food back. Then the hostess told us we were right and the cook messed up. Finally, once everybody was done eating, the hostage came out and let us know that something got spilled on one of the missing dinners. I had to bust my own table. No one came out to check on us and had to go to the bar to even get another water. Once we complain to our server and the hostess, nothing was done not even we will take 10% off your bill maybe even take an item off the bill nothing. Not saying I need a discount but due to bad services and missing food it’s just customers to offer something like this. In hopes for customers to return back. There were only two people serving and not one manager on site.

The food was fine, for the most part. Appetizers were good, burger and the specialty chicken were great, but that's about it. The pulled pork tasted burnt, the chicken used for the regular menu was abysmal, and the service... don't get me started.

I understand they were busy because of a special event at the stadium, but they should have planned for that. Instead, just two servers were working the entire place including indoor and outdoor seating. The service was beyond slow, the servers were never around, the table was never bussed, the kitchen messed things up and not a single employee was communicating.

When we tried to bring the issues to the server's attention, she was nowhere to be found. When we brought them to the manager / hostess' attention, she was unfazed. I literally bussed our table myself to make space since no one came back to check on us, but they didn't seem to care that the whole operation was a mess...

I know it's new management or ownership, but we've been coming to the stadium restaurant for years and have never experienced this before.

9/26/25 Unfortunately, I'm writing this review because I just received the worst service ever. Our waiter Joey took forever to come ask are drink order. Then, she apparently forgot we were waiting to order our food, so then she finally came and took are order and argued with me about swapping my French fries out with tater tots. She had no clue tater tots were on the menu. It took us over a hour just to get our food as the waiters would talk and laugh and not help anyone. We were not the only customers who had a bad experience. We watched a whole table leave because how long they were waiting for. I'm disappointed how much they have changed and gone down hill since they left the location in Branchville. If they continue this I don't see them last long

a very disappointed local customer!

Had a lovely time for dinner with my wife. Wonderful staff. Best burger I’ve had in years from anywhere! The MSD Burger! We will definitely be back.

WOW That's all I can say. We spent a little while researching places with good burger reviews (we've been desperate) and decided to give this place a try. It's been hard finding a decent restaurant in our area and this place is nice and close. Joey took amazing care of us and was very patient with our questions and our need for extra time. We started with the wings. They were perfect. Crispy and meaty, and paired with a thick pungent buffalo sauce and what appeared to be homemade blue cheese. The burger selection is intense and doesnt make the decision making process easy. We decided to go with the octoberfest burger and the ahmboorgar. We really were blown away with the quality and flavor combinations. The onion rings were fresh with a light batter and came with a zesty horseradish sauce. Do yourself a favor and swing by here for a taste. You will not regret it.
P.s. Joey is a gem, really truly made the meal special and I can't wait to go back and visit her again.

The food was amazing, the waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and prompt. But the food took forever to come out of the kitchen, and while it was busy, no one else was getting food either. It was 20 minutes between our appetizer and our meal, and when the main course came out, it was only 2 burgers, then 10 minutes before everyone else's food came out. We would definitely try again, but the kitchen staff really should pick it up a bit.

BYOF (Bring Your Own Food - you'll need it!)
We had a reservation at The Barnyard for 6:30 pm last night (08/31/25) for the Miners' last regular season game (day after the Pat Mobilio 1-star review).
No hostess, no manager, and two waitresses (felt sorry for them). We stood in the doorway waiting for someone to seat us, but apparentyl we were invisible. After 10 minutes, we stopped a waitress, to ask if someone could seat us, who apologized and walked away. Realizing we were not going to be seated anytime soon, we left (as did the people behind us). Can't understand how they can stay in business with no hostess, no manager, and two wait-staff. Eat before you go to a game or prepare to stand on long lines (20 minute minimum) at the stadium. We'll NEVER return to The B-Yard.

An hr and 10 minutes for 2 burgers and fries that was nothing spectacular.3waitresses and 1 bartender on duty for a Saturday night when there was a game Definitely will not return

Highly recommend!! The burgers are juicy and delicious. They recently added an Asian salad to the menu. I added sesame tuna to mine, and it was fabulous. The staff is fast and responsive. The Barnyard is absolutely worth checking out.

Had the pulled pork platter. The worse I ever had. Not sure if it was the pork or sauce but it had a chemiical taste and no not a smoked taste and the rest of the platter was just ok. The person took our order and brought our drinks. Did not see them again, until they came over to our table and asked if we got our food yet. We said yes and they took the plates already. Looking around they have more people to serve the food then taking orders.
