Nice looking place, however the table was very wobbly. Asked for more water twice but never got any. Chicken parm and pork schnitzel were good, burgers weren't so good. My girlfriend asked for no cheese and you can clearly see they put cheese on it and then took it off. Pickles were placed on top of the bun which just soaked the bun in pickle juice? Don't know why you'd do that. Never came by to ask how everything was. They legitimately had 2 people running the entire front and all the tables on a friday night. They didn't actually have the lager that was on the menu. Bathroom has no lock.

Absolutely top drawer quality food.....different mixed drinks that deliver as well.*Adding an update ...a brunch was offered for Easter that was beyond belief! For a mere $45 , offerings extended from breakfast to appetizers to main entrees to desserts. The timeframe was 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.Talking the BEST bacon/sausages/ potato pancakes/ perfect scrambled eggs/fresh melon the best ever! Then trays of huge fresh shrimp/ mussels/breaded stuffed mushrooms, libster ravioli.Chafing dishes of prime rib, leg of lamb/ glazed ham/ pork paprikas + spaetzle/spicy rigatoni/ specialty chicken/ walnut encrusted cod/ roasted veggie/ roasted potatoes. There were plenty of salad dishes and the homemade desserts were spectacular - apple strudel, warm out of the oven cookies, cheesecake so divine and chocolate mousse that had everyone raving.I am sure did not include everything....Agnes,PLEASE do your brunch again soon !

My family and I decided to go out to eat for dinner. We are new to the area so we’ve never tried this restaurant before we decided to try it out. We arrived at 6:30 PM. We got seated and we’re handed water which is fine the waitress in that area was attending other customers not once she turned to us say hello nothing which is fine but then we waited and waited and waited. The owner passes by and ask us if we received the menu for the St. Patrick’s Day special we said no, and we didn’t receive anything at all. She gave us the menu and walked away, we are still waiting. I’m assuming he’s the bus boy because he isn’t a waiter because later on he said he didn’t have a number which we’ll get to that.He finally came and asked us what we wanted and was surprised that we weren’t even asked to drink yet he took our drink order and we still waited by 7:15 PM. We decided it was time to go. I walked to the table where the waitress take the orders to cancel the order and the waitress that was supposed to handle that already had an attitude and saying the owner asked you and you said you wanted more time which was not the case, and as I’m speaking to her, she walked off. After all this is done, my husband goes back to talk to the owner and the manager Sabrina Decides to tell him there’s nothing they can do basically and that we were only waiting for 20 minutes after our drinks were taken, but what about the minutes before which again we were there for 45 minutes. The place was empty so no need for the delay or the attitude. The waitress was super quick to help and be super friendly to a couple right before we walked out. I highly do not recommend this place at all.

Lauren was the only server working and nonetheless provided a truly genuine, kind and professional service. She was hard working and personable and valued providing a quality experience which I really appreciate despite being short staffed. The busser, who's name im forgetting was also lovely, intelligent and supportive. It's always inspiring to see a team be able to work together in a collaborative way, especially in a time of short staffing and reduced wages.Food wise it was very good, the perogies slapped! As did the smoked trout. Next time I'm passing through I look forward to stopping by

Out on a driving adventure north of us, we stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. Great blues music playing around the bar, think Gary Moore. The Jack Daniels burger was delicious! Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Washed down with a half liter of Oktoberfest beer and looking out onto the lake.

Best burger I've ever had, keep this place alive. it's such a hidden gem. Chicken sandwich is CRISPY the right way and the burgers are the best
Great night with a friend enjoying delicious food and drinks while overlooking the lake. Went on a recommendation from family. I am looking forward to visiting again soon.
They opened at 4 PM, so we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner. First time there. Hugh dining room with a well-stocked bar, and there was also outdoor space for warmer weather dining. Sat by a window with lovely views of Culver Lake. Menu was scaled back for the season but still had a great selection of Octoberfest offerings. Loved the pierogi appy! Good service, too. Will definitely be back. Ample parking, but the restaurant's location alongside a sharp curve in the road on Route 206 made turning into the lot a bit tricky!

Was just passing by, making our way back to NY & found this hidden gem. Stopped for lunch & the food, service & views of the lake were all very good. Ordered the pierogis loaded, the steak sandwich & the crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. All so yummy! Our waitress Jett was very friendly & attentive. Have to drive through town again in a few weeks & will definitely come back to eat here at the Carriage house!

Food was amazing. The five of us had the German parts of the menu and we were blown away. Bread was hot and fresh served with butter olive oil and Hungarian spread which was cream cheese, butter, shallots, red pepper and sweet paprika. Pretezels were hot and delicious. The specials sour broutan, beef rouladan and 3 types of snitchels. Wow just wow.

A magical destination filled with great locals. The food was amazing as was the family friendly atmosphere. So many outdoor activities, the Delaware river was beautiful, really enjoyed swimming and tube relaxing. Hiking and exploring were also highlights.
