Food was excellent! Our waitress was ok, but felt kinda of ignored, because a large table of like 6 people was hers as well. And she made them a priority for sure, I get it , bigger tip, but still barely saw her. Other than that it was great!

We were visiting in Toms River and decided to go here.Parking is not ideal. We had a party of five and waited at least an hour to get seated. The young girls at the hosted desk were not overly concerned that we had my 99 year old mother with us for her birthday. Many people were seated before us. When we kept asking about seating they replied we can’t just add a chair to the other tables. When I walked in to look they had a few open large tables. We were told they have to keep them open in case a large group came in. When we finally were seated they added a chair and it didn’t cause any problems. The couple of large tables were still unused. Food was good but nothing great. The wait time for the food was also longer than expected. I did go to the bar while we waited to be seated and the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Not a place I would probably go back to.

Came with my mom for lunch and sat at back bar. Service was terrible as the only bartender , tall guy w mustache was not tentative, and spending way too much time making expresso martinis with his face on them from cinnamon and expresso beans...then after taking all this time to impress the 3 customers he made them for, he decided to have 20min chats with all 3 of them after...Now he got to my mom and I to finally take our order after 30mins...only to apologize for typing in my order wrong, because he wasn't paying attention. THEN he turns around and starts another 15min conversation about himself while I glance around the entire bar at all the
empty glasses of the other customers also waiting for him to follow up on their drinks and orders. Nice guy but needs to self realize the time he is taking between waiting customers who all had the same faces on rolling their eyes in disappointment. This guy needs a performance chat...

I am at Beacon 70 right now sitting by the bar and I just saw a server lick the side of an overflowing beer before bringing it to a customer. Undercut in his late 20s maybe wearing a gold cross necklace. Unbelievable.

Beacon 70 is pretty to look at and the service was good. The food on the other hand was horrible. We ordered skirt steak that was overly seasoned with cumin served with breakfast potatoes with chunks of chorizo in it. It just was not good at all. The drinks were just okay. I think if they got a new chef this place could be something pretty great.
On Easter it should be buffet only until it’s over then you can start placard.

Got to the resturant at 9:30p. Sign stated they are no longer seating tables, so I sat at the bar. 12 mins later, someone walks over to me and tells me they have no food, the kitchen closed early.

I just left a review and after it posted the bartender I mentioned in my review on his service APPROACHED ME saying I could have just been honest with him, as I realized the management team immediately shared my review for him to approach me with disappointment on his face making me feel super uncomfortable, but I stood my ground and professionally explain my review and his missed opportunity serving us and those at the bar the same..This could have NOT been anymore unprofessional by the management team. There was no appologize...just the server taking a stance on his position, then telling me the review really didn't matter to him. All of this took place at the bar while we weren't even checked out yet in front of my 83 year old mother...

Fun bar/eatery right on the water. Went in early January at night so we didn't really get to check the place out. Beer was cold, food was decent, service was good and we had a nice little midweek dinner. Not a particularly large menu, mostly bar food, but you can probably find something you'll like. We're we super impressed? No. But I can't say anything negative about the place. Give it try!
