Great vegan pizza! I have a dairy allergy and have been on the hunt for a vegan pizza that doesn't suck, and they made it pretty well. Good portion of the vegan cheese and it wasn't gluey. I was even able to get it with whatever toppings, including pepperoni!! I will say it feels a little expensive for a pie but once in awhile it's ok to splurge for cheez. My bf got a normal pizza and he said it passed his standards lol

Worst plain pizza ever. I needed something fast and easy. Now I'm nauseous and disgusted. The sauce was thin and tasted like just plain tomato saucs.

Price was ridiculous! A regular pizza and a gluten-free pizza (very small) cost almost $50!!! DEFINITELY not worth it!!

Gave this place a shot for a quick lunch break one day. Incredibly expensive for to-go slices, with two slices (not even anything particularly toppings-heavy) costing around $10. Plain pizza was among the worst I've had in recent memory - incredibly doughy, undercooked, and with absolutely no flavor. I'll stick with Victory, Mike's, and LG's in the area - a lot more affordable and they don't taste like something that came out of a freezer box.

There's no pizza special as it promotes on the yelp cover. They supposedly close at 10 on all the websites, but they gave me a dried-up pizza and closed at 9 pm, i called and paid at 8:35 pm. I could tell this pizza was at least 2 hours old when I was 8 min from there to pick it up; they didn't want to cook a new one if they were closing within a half hour. The soup is super bland. But if they serve many older people, that's how they like it. Lg pie and soup came out to 26$, and the guy on the phone was a douche. Not worth it.

I have been ordering from Joey D's for quite a few months now and everything has been absolutely delicious! From their pizzas to their seafood dishes...all have been consistently yummy! The staff are also really sweet and very helpful. As a native New Yorker I highly recommend this restaurant.

January 21st, 2023Enjoying some comfort food at a different Pizza Joint for us.Kit enjoyed a very large slice of sausage, peppers and onions pizza.I enjoyed a slightly small slice of the sausage, peppers and onions pizza and had a side order of an Italian Sub with lettuce, onions and tomatoes...The slices were tasty but the sauce was watery and average in taste...It was to be topped with Mayo, Vinegar and salt, pepper and oregano...It was missing the Mayo and was splashed Witt oil and vinegar...Returned to the counter and asked for a small cup of Mayo and applied it to the sandwich.Minor imperfections, but we will give them another try!!!

Do not order the Margherita style pizza! It's literally a tomato sauce pizza with very few random spots of basil and even fewer little random triangles of mozzarella. We asked for more cheese and were told it would cost extra! Extra to make the pizza the way it's supposed to be! It was a $25 pizza with barely any ingredients! We even had to ask them to clean the table... all the tables needed to be cleaned but the guy came out n cleaned ours, leaving the rest dirty!First and last time!

Ehhh. It was food - I guess. Which in an area that has a bazillion pizzerias means I'm not likely to ever go back. Having to run a few errands, and feeling the familiar stomach gurgle as I exited the UPS building, I knew it was time for a quick lunch. Since it was practically next door, and I was feeling particularly lazy, pizza for lunch it was! Walking in, it's your fairly standard pizza joint. TV's on a wall or two, glass display counter, you know the look. They had about 5-6 pizzas on display, and they didn't look too bad. I opted for a slice of a square (grandma?) vodka pie, as well as a slice of plain. The first thing that came as a shocker was the price. With only those two slices, and nothing to drink, it came to ~$10 or so after tax. Look, I know inflation is wild right now but nearly five bucks a slice is a bit exorbitant, yeah? Flavor-wise, the vodka slice was actually not half bad. Not sure I'd pay that much for it again, but certainly the better offering of the two. The plain slice was really doughy, the cheese was extremely cheap, and the crust had practically no flavor, almost like a dough made with all purpose flour instead of something like semolina. The overall flavor could probably best be described as something you'd get in an old mall food court, or perhaps a cafeteria. With so much stiff competition in the area, I think I'll just go elsewhere. Even for specialty slices, most places in the area don't charge this much, especially for some fairly mediocre pizza.

The pizzeria rarely has any customers. The staff and hired drivers are watching tv. And the food taste like wood covered in marinara sauce . Go see for yourself. Stay away from the meatballs they’re old and stale. I’m from Brooklyn they should be ashamed of themselves! Brooklyn pizza is supposed to be the best!

They have the most amazing pizza and Boli Bites. They were getting ready to close one night, my friend and I were starving, they heated up the last few slices They had and we inhaled them. So good

Fantastic vegan options at this restaurant. The vegan cheesesteak with peppers, onions and mushrooms was incredible. The vegan menu is expansive.
